Is this good

Is this good.

I've seen the first season. It has some potential, but I don't feel like watching any more. The protagonist is awful. It seems to cater to female viewers and unfolds like a romance novel.

It's basically all about cucking.

No wonder GRRM likes it.

mom's favorite

It's comfy, a bit cheesy and stupid at times but comfy.

>It's basically all about cucking.
Not on the level of vikings.

What happened on Vikings? I only watched the 1st season and don't remember any cucking.

Its a show made for women. It plays out like those old fashioned romance novels where a week woman meets a handsome man that is perfect in every way and loves her solely. He is good looking, smart, funny and sacrifices everything for her and has 12 abs on his face. Basically watch it if you want the occasional cool fight scene, fun scottish stereotypes and to finger your pussy to the male lead.

>What happened on Vikings? I only watched the 1st season and don't remember any cucking.
Basically every single male character aside from Floki gets cucked. Literally every single one of them but Floki. A chink even fucks Ragnar's 2nd wife.

Yes very good
Well shot, well acted, gorgeous scenery and costumes.

But it's mostly a chick flick about a woman never really happy with her husband and cucks him in time with another Chad.

The actress is fabulous on this tho

This is true. That's also the entire book series. I do not get why anyone likes it.

>I do not get why anyone likes it.
Its made for a female audience. And because its slightly historical and has some action their boyfriends and husbands can tolerate watching it with them.

Don't know a thing about the show but this poster is a piece of art.

It's pretty good for what it is. I'ts well produced, and it breaks a lot of tropes in these sorts of shows so far as it panders to women instead of men with it's depictions of sexuality, so it's sort of the opposite of Game of Thrones. The opening episode begins with a guy going down on a chick for example. You'd rarely see that in a lot of these fantasy series. I'm a straight guy so it doesn't really appeal to me, but I watch it with my girl. It does have a few laughs, some lovable characters, and historicality (not always entirely accurate though, but generally pretty good.) If you have a girlfriend or wife, be prepared that if you watch it with them, they might become fucking obsessed.

Only the first episode.

Is this Reverse Sleepy Hollow?

It is a good adaptation of a book series. In that regard it is orders of magnitude better than GoT as an adaptation of a book.

The guy gets beat up and raped in a dirty cell by a guy he had a perfect opportunity to kill. He was strung up and beaten almost to death. Then left to die. Then he had the chance to kill the guy and didn't take it. This shit is like some kind of woman's fantasy.

this show is really fucking comfy.
also try Poldark

>based off a romance novel
>unfolds like a romance novel
Wow, that's really a really weird connection

that was a fucking horrendous rape scene. People go on about the sansa rape but for this one i had to actually pause it and go do something else for a bit.

>Wow, that's really a really weird connection
Its not a criticism. Its just telling OP what he'll get. Its a show made for more of a female/ couple audience. Its not vikings or game of thrones. Its sexy lorenzo scottish edition.

couldnt get past the first episode
>woman travels back in time to the middle of a skirmish
>english officer forgets about the ongoing battle taking place right around him and instantly tries to rape her
>scottish rebel comes across them, hits the officer unconscious and doesn't even try to kill him, an english officer, in the middle of a fucking battle where they're shooting eachother

It's just shitty MUH HERITAGE bait.

>the erotic adventures of a time-travelling trollop
Nope.

>Poldark
Now that's a good show.

comfy as fuck

clarie a cutie
jamie a cutie
murtagh a fucking best uncle
brutus a monstrous rape beast
little kid is french
prince a mark me cuck

imo they made the scraggly commoner redhead a bit too scraggly and commoner, couldn't give a fuck about her

>clarie a cutie
Spreads her legs quite quickly for a woman that allegeldy didn't fuck anyone on the western front. Cuck husband is A-okay with that too.
>jamie a cutie
Generic perfect boy that gives women false expectations of relationships. Takes her shit constantly and sacrifices himself for her at every waking moment.

>Spreads her legs quite quickly

several months and seven episodes, and only because she had to marry someone to receive their legal protection

Sam Heughan is fucking beautiful.

If I were Jack Randall and he was my prisoner I don't know if I'd be able to hold back either

This. Essential Mom-Core.

Good taste, I'm chewing through season 2 and I didn't think Rapey McRapington couldn't take his rape game up to the next level, got proved wrong again.

The two of them actually have consequences for their retarded actions though, Clair learns pretty quickly that she'll get her shit knocked in if she steps out of line in the normal social order of the time period.

>women now cheat through time and space as well

...

I love his Outlander interviews where they start bringing up Game of Thrones and his face is just like "dont bring up that shite I'm actually being an actor in Outlander"

it's not cheating to have sex with your husband

she does have sex with the king of france though

...

Watch Poldark. Far better period drama, its actually great and I can barely find a flaw.
Outlander is a romance, but not a bad one.

shes qt as fuck tho

as other anons said it: it's a show made for women. it's pretty comfy but if you're a male you won't be able to fully enjoy it. also, the protagonist if the biggest ungrateful cunt I've ever seen and I hope she gets raped at some point.

Her new husband gets raped by the past version of her original husband though, sort of an anti-cucking device that ripples across the seas of time and rape

Come on, look at that rape scene again. Jamie was a lucky guy!

he was better in Rome, and he phoned it in hard for GoT this season because he just stopped giving any shits about it.

would have expected him to be in Turn; Washingtons spies, he's just got that kind of face for it.
i'd rather him than the shitter they have as Abe

>it's a jamie can't have sex with claire because it reminds him too much of randall episode

>mfw Blackjack brands him
>mfw he Blackjack forces him to say he belongs to him
At least Outlander doesn't pull its punches with graphic sexual content and beyond.

I haven't read the books so I'm probably going to be very disappointed, but I want to see Murtagh do the same thing to him as he did to the Duke

"Attempted Rape, The Show"

>Attempted

>Attempted

That's the meaning of true love: it leaves its mark forever on your skin :)

My mom loved the books and says the show is really great. It's aimed at moms who like romance shit and it does well in that regard.

Difference is I'd want him to actually want me, not under force.

Does anyone else think he's make a really good live-action Apollo in an Authority movie/TV Series?

Tbf, he doesn't exist yet, only his evil doppelgänger exists in this time period.

>"Attempted Rape, The Show"
Why do you think women love it so much?

It's a romance novel, merged with some anglophobic yankee nonsense.

Nice costuming though.

>It's a well deserved spanking episode
