This season is basicly do or die for Markström. He was a highly touted prospect who never seemed to get his shit together. Last season he showed some glimpses and still has great upside but if he shits the bed, I think that's it for him in the big league.

He didn't look lost more than any other player in the game. It was a sloppy game and only ones who seemed to look like they knew what they were doing were the Sedins and Barkov.
I expect this game will be much better quality.

He didn't get to utilize his shot but that's mostly on Vatanen, who was unable to pass him the puck on pp because he was too busy shooting it to a Swedish meat wall.

He did win the WC MVP as the youngest player in history and broke Jaromir Jagr's U18 Scoring record in 3 games. Willie went home crying after his 2nd shift.
Rantanen was brought up to get a feel of the NHL. He played less than 10 minutes/ game.
Nylander was a 2nd year NA pro who only got called up because all hope of the playoffs was lost. Massive difference.

Rantanen will always be better than Nylander and neither of them is even close to our real top young guns.
