I've watched tonight.
Wheelchair races: real sport, as much interesting as normal races.
Wheelchair basket: same.
Blind football: surprisingly interesting, I thought it would be a big lulz but in fact that was cool.
Freakshow swimming: there I loled a lot. Seriously, a midget vs a maimed vs a nervous disabled, wtf? There's no competition, but at least that's fun.

All in all I like it.

Literally all of them are using two legs.

Damn, he's fast

they're great but i'm still hangover from the hundreds of hours i spent on the normal olympics
if they were organized before the normal ones i'd actually watch them as an appetizer

The blade is nowhere near the efficiency of a real leg.

>Blind football: surprisingly interesting, I thought it would be a big lulz but in fact that was cool.
I just watched some highlights, it's actually really impressive.

Just wait for Wheelchair Rugby (aka Murderball).

Also forgot this ad

That looks dope gonna watch it for sure

BOING BOING BOING BOING BOING BOING BOING BOING

experts in the field have yet to decide whether blades are an advantage over a natural leg or not.

Wait, there's no rule? The wheelchairs end up semi destroyed, so cool!

Here is the 2016 ad: youtube.com/watch?v=IocLkk3aYlk

They should be held during the olympics, it would be easier to organize and more people would watch it.

Sup Forums is shying away from the Paralympics because everyone knows Team GB is going to smash it and there's too many ABTGBs to accept that.

>1 leg

what about that robot leg? if he was hopping I would be interested.

...

Is there a parolymic deathmarch?
If so I'm in

No, there are marathons though.

Also we have a general

In high school I did 100m in less than 9.5 seconds, but I have to stop because of a hernia.

>I did 100m in less than 9.5 seconds
Sure you did

Yeah, and I fucked LeBron James wife

>9.5
ayyy

The People who have lost both foods are more dominant at longer ranges like 200meter.A reason why Peacock wins with one leg at 100m is because if you have one food still left .

It's easier for the athlete to leave the starting block with one intact foot left, but as mentioned before the people with only blades get better at longer ranges.

I never understood why the paras are held after the regular Olympics. Many Olympic viewers are casual sports fans and lose interest after two weeks.
They should put the paras before the Olympics to keep the views tuned.

>Why isn't Sup Forums interested in the Paralympics?

They're a global forced meme

People are guilt tripped into feigning interest

>feigning
Sure m8, that's why London 2012 sold out and 8 million people in the UK watched the T44 100m final live.

Poor little tink tink

White guys actually win too

underrated

I bet he cut it all the way to the hip to be lighter.

The paralympics seem to have fuller stadiums than the olympics did

The whole upper stand is empty, so not really.

Do Paralympics have death march?

...

No

death roll?

lel, I don't think so.
The longest race is the marathon.

>use synthetic leg hacks
>surprised when they're better than organic cramp machines

Less power though

give it 10 more years

Based as fuck.

I did it in 7.1

lying aas niggas

My dentist did it in 2.1

I did your mum last night.

that's fucking gross

Jokes on you. She's dead.

Those wheelchairs need weapons like in Robot Wars.

>7.1

I see what you did there you cheeky bugger

i did 911

Get back to me when there's a 200k death roll road race, with hills.

and stairs

if this was the case then there'd be someone running close to the real sprinters, yet they're all 1-2 seconds off

what if none of them are truly great sprinters and would still be off 1-2 seconds with real legs

but if the blade is actually an advantage then they'd be running even slower than that with real legs, which makes it seem unlikely because those would be shit tier times for genetically gifted athletes

>that guy with no legs and only one arm in lane 6
>second-to-last after the first 20 meters
>finishes second

There is fucking paralympic powerlifting right now

Don't tell you guys r this big of a heartless pussies and aren't following this

>They should be held during the olympics, it would be easier to organize and more people would watch it.

it would be a nightmare in terms of organization and infrastructure, you' need an olympic village of double the size to host all the olympic and paralympic athletes, not to mention a double amount of venues unless you want the Olympics/Paralympics to be 5 weeks long.

is julmis getting a shot at redemption?

what a time to pull your hammy

do white men run better when you cut off one leg?

I'm pretty sure the silver medal winner had arms. He seems like a pretty cool guy too.

so the blades really are just bad for starts

...

Mallone has arms. And is a bit of banterous madman.

Holy shit so with 2 legs he could that time in half to 6 seconds. That's fucking unreal

Pogo Chi.

They aren't on TV here or I would watch them - I don't want to watch on a laptop screen tho.
