I would say they get progressively worse each season, but I really liked 3 and those adorably stupid witches.

Its funny... I could put up wit hthe increasing LGBT agenda every season. I could put up with Eric Roberts daughter, I could even put up with the filler episodes, but if youre right, and lady Gaga becomes a regular, I am 100% done with this show.

Every season is good barring 4. Only reason why I rank 5 above 1 and 2 is because it doesn't fall apart like the other seasons at the end.

I think its premiere was incredibly strong but fuck me, shit when downhill really fast. I tried to hang in there but after 5 episodes I just couldn't anymore.

I liked Freakshow. It was pretty great up till Twisty died, then after that it dragged but was still much better than Hotel

This. The sex was also off the charts. Even Sarah Paulson oozed sex which is rare. As for the plot I think the writers knew exactly what kind of story would work with the setting and the actors. Hell, Countess could've been GOAT but Lady Gaga only got the hang of the character in the last 4 episodes. Pic related also went full camp which was fun as hell

Because the writing was terrible and the story went nowhere as they tried to stretch what felt like a few episodes worth of narrative to a full length season.

On the contrary, she was the only redeeming part of the season despite the fact that her role was small and had fuck all impact on the overarching plot.

It was pure shit and it had no clear direction from the beginning. There was the conflict between the witch and voodoo covens (interesting), the introduction of witch hunters (even more interesting, given that one of the character's husbands was one of them) and the minor arch, which became the main theme (unfortunately), of who the next supreme is. The season could have been more focused on the first two themes and it would have been better. I cared about who the next supreme was, but not as much as seeing the conflict between the two covens, and the very real danger of witch hunters.

Haven't seen 5 yet. I think I may be the only one who actually liked Dandy and the fourth season, since I've heard people talking shit. I like the show overall because it's a story about people primarily, and how we create suffering and horrific acts towards our fellow man. The horror angle is just a way to bring forth these stories.

Also, despite my dislike for Emma Roberts, the bitch can act. It's something when ability makes you forget you dislike an actor.

I enjoyed it quite a bit.

The only thing I really remember enjoying in it was the serial killer dinners and the initial baby vampire outbreak. Everything else was meh.

I love her. Not sure if the actress is in school or busy with other projects, but I hate that she isn't in every season.

They turned the show into a glorified 10 hour long Lady Gaga music video, removing what little substance the series had left in exchange for "style".

It's all over the place and incomprehensible, even by AHS's already low standards.

I heard 3 was the best, and I was quite let down. Especially the last few episodes. Really felt like they realised they had like 3 episodes left and were like JESUS SHIT LETS WRAP THIS UP and it felt so rushed. It didn't bother me that it was about an all female witch school, although there were a couple of cringey moments.

Also I wish there was more voodoo shit in there. Why set it in the South, and be literally about magic, only to not have voodoo take front and centre? I know it was in there, just always found myself wanting more.
