Hi Disney

>i rate watchmen

>attempts to assert something incorrect
>"lol i was only trollin"

Does that movie have a "cult" following? I agree that it's dogshit but I always assumed I was in the minority holding that opinion.

>inb4 rape scene webms

Watch it again when you're over 25, shit-for-brains.

I remember someone in my movie course used a scene from this movie as an example of cinematography.

This was before the Synder Kino postings began though kek

>i'm a film studies student.

What's wrong with being a film student? You get to submit your own films to festivals after you learn every detail of filmmaking.

Warcraft

that good movie

...

I'm an ex film student (changed course) and can tell you so much wrong with film courses, the practical ones at least.
Too many dumb fucks without a gram of creativity or technical ability in them who use it as an excuse not to write essays or do any research/studying. They also drag other students down because of it.
It leaves very few career options outside of the film industry. If you love film so much and really want to work on it I'd probably recommend combining your honours, such as 'film and marketing/media/communications', leave room for research and academic qualifications that can be applicable to other careers, such as teaching/admin/marketing/journalism. I know of far more success stories from students who studied more academic courses relating to film/the media industry than those who studied practical courses, those that go on to be producers and such. Remember you can still do the film production work outside of your academic studies as long as the university allows you to book the equipment.

you mean shit

...

fuck you this was good

very true

I like it

Watchmen doesn't have a cult following. The fact that not many people like it doesn't make it a "cult" film. Cult films inspire fandom, fanaticism, obscure web pages... there's just a few dumb posters who occasionally defend this shit, that's not a cult.

>tfw you realize Civil War is a Watchmen ripoff.

Vision = blue guy
Bucky = Rorschach

Donnie Darko

...

Clerks

except Clerks.

This and Sucker Punch
I know a very cult man that loves those two flicks

itt films that people pretend are dog shit because they want to hate snyder and dc.

They're both great films.

SP is shit

Pretty much every MCU/DIsney film.

It's only good if you've ever worked retail. The relatability is it's saving grace, not that great otherwise. Waiting is in the same vein.

agreed. Not bad really just not amazing

Fight Club falls in the same way

Correct

If people like it as just a dumb movie then it's fine, but it's the people who always name drop it when they hear Trump being elected or someone stupid doing something stupid that make it seem more important than it is.

Sucker Punch is the #1 movie of all time that changed cinema forever.

Cry more.

are you even trying?
