>Initially sign off all Beatles as normie shit
>Hate their music because it's covered so much and heard in so many things like commercials
>Give them a try
>Still hate it
>Can't help but keep coming back to the album and I'm starting to get addicted
Where do I go from this album? I don't even know their discography. But this is some infectious shit.
Initially sign off all Beatles as normie shit
Sgt. Pepper, Revolver or Rubber Soul
might as well go forward one more to the end of their career with Let It Be and then go in reverse chronological order
Actually should've mentioned I've listened to Sgt. Pepper as well. Liked it pretty well.
I'd listen to the "White" album in both mono and stereo. (Abbey Road was only released in stereo)
then still do this
but then skip sgt peppers if you want
Not OP, but is it significantly different between the two versions?
There are mixing differences here and there but nothing substantial. The Beatles really don't need to be heard in mono after their first four LPs.
do this
then go to the white album and let it be if you like their later stuff or go to help and please please me if you like their earlier stuff.
Airplane sounds on Back in The U.S.S.R are slightly different and louder
Mix of Dear Prudence is slightly different
While My Guitar Gently Weeps is a different mix
The birds chirping and pigs oinking on Blackbird and Piggies are different
Don't Pass Me By is speeded up
The intro to Helter Skelter is longer and doesn't end with Ringo shouting about having blisters on his fingers. (It just fades out)
These are the noticeable differences that come to mind immediately.
