Fully aware. there is no real distinction between Democrats and Republicans. The distinction is made between politicians who will hop in the pockets of the highest bidder and who won't. Outrage, public opinion etc can make her "Change" her mind. We've seen this happen on the issue of gay marriage, there is a chance this can affect our climate talks. Trump on the other hand, does not and will not care. He is the textbook definition of a narcissist and hillary is a sociopath, but a controllable, to an extent, sociopath. You can convince a sociopath of a certain view especially if it is backed by science, much easier than you can convince a narcissist especially if said narcissist has the IQ of a potato.
The political system has failed the people, the news media has failed the people and it was designed to fail the people. The people have failed themselves by being to apathetic to inform themselves and by expecting private institutions to inform them on what is actually important and what is going on in the primaries.
Has nothing to do with giving governments more money. The first step is actually acknowledging that a problem exists, then we can focus on solving it.
Some things which are necessary such as scientific research do not always have the short term profit actualization that things like mining coal and drilling for oil do. This is why private institutions have a much harder time adopting them and money needs to be set aside to fund these programs.
