I was gonna make a thread and link it but I thought I would just linklater
Fuck you.
Movies about high school and college age people having fun and experiencing new things used to excite, but now I'm 22 and just finished at community college and this shit only reminds me how I have squandered my potential for zany, youthful experiences, and how by the time I transfer to uni I will have nothing in common with the carefree 20 year olds I'm surrounded by who will no doubt consider me too withdrawn and too jaded.
its not too late just go find carefree people and since they are carefree they wouldnt mind you joining the pack
but there's literally a character in the film who's 30 and still manages to sneak in and have fun with all the young guys
and you're still eight years younger than him
thank fucking god I can finally watch this.
based Sagan
Also, no one had that kind of videotape collection in 1980.
i don't get which one was supposed to be linklater
>it's legit
Hallefuckinglujah.! I was waiting for this for months.
kek, my sister was just telling me how much she hated this yesterday.
shit like that doesnt matter if you're cool
Already saw it in theatres and thought it was perfection so I can wait a bit longer to snag the Blu-Ray. Glad so many people get to see it now though.
this makes me feel kinda bad. i really did want to support the movie and go see it in theatres.
but now i guess ill just dl it
just go buy the ticket for it but dont actually watch it
Whatever I heard this movie ain't nothing special. Definitely no dazed and confused
why was everyone so fit? even the neckbeard was
It's on par with Dazed and Confused.
This. buy the ticket at the auto ticket area as soon as the theatre opens so theres no one about.
i hated dazed and confused so this will probably be good then
the arts major chick with the joni mitchell poster is so fucking hot
DO I NEED TO UNDERSTAND BASEDBOWL RULES FOR THIS
no. they don't even play baseball until about 75 minutes in
thanks user, touchdown!
It wasn't the guy I expected it to be
wait why didn't you put two and two together when Kurt Russell's son left the pitcher's mound?
You're only two fucking years older than them, there are people who think the exact same thing and they're like 35. Also you can befriend people easier by buying alcohol for the 19-20 year olds.
dude you're 22 chill out
before that happened I thought it was going to be either this guy or the other dude I posted
he was the best character. reminded me of this guy in a lot of ways. I like characters who are unconditionally cool.
Best bro in the film.
Also one of my favourites from Dazed.
How much money can I have if I write "Dazed & Confused 3: The 90s Version"?

>Film starts with My Sharona
this gonn be good
ends with Let the Good Times Roll. pretty good soundtrack.
everybody stayed for the credits, right?
>tfw you will never be in a Richard Linklater film
either a Richard Linklater film or a WKW film would be the best films to be in.
wew lad
>Spiritual Sequel
dafuq does that even mean?
same movie, but:
different decade
different sport
college
or could it mean that it has no one from the original movie?
well, Willoughby is basically Wooderson only a bit understated.
>if you like dazed and confused you'll like this!
>it's marketing
FTFY
In the same spirit, but not a direct continuation.
Like Bioshock is to System Shock 2.
oic..
In ten years everyone will be all nostalgic about what a great movie it was and why don't they make good movies like that anymore.
you couldn't pay me to pirate this
THEATER PARTY
...
>Have you gotten your charts done?
They had an early screening as well as a q and a session for this movie at my university. The actor who played Rawdawg as well as one of the producers from the film was there, it was pretty cool.
I saw this with my dad and he was dying laughing during this scene. I think it was all the Canadian stuff with the card game (we're Canadian but I don't know if that's why he found it funny or just because it was so absurd).
