(Deluxe Edition)
>20th anniversary deluxe edition with 3 bonus discs of early outtakes and demo material for a total of 4 hours of music
>(Japanese Bonus Track)
Prove to me the deluxe version of this isn't better.
>Protip, you can't.
>ends up having better songs than the rest of the album
>Remastered reissue with 12 demos tacked onto the end
Why the HECC is Gamera not on the regular version of Millions Now Living Will Never Die?It's one of the best songs on the album.
There's no such a thing as a good deluxe version. Less is more. You don't add useless shit onto something that's already good.
Hello rockist,
>useless shit
>final track on deluxe edition closes the album better than Fame ever could
>the 'less is more' argument'.
Mhm....
EVERY. FUCKING. TIME.
What's so special about Japan?
>25th anniversary addition
>not the 25th anniversary
It's more expensive to buy shit in Japan and so in order to encourage buying they do limited editions or bonus tracks on the japanase releases
I think it's something about how Japanese companies want people to buy domestically, so they add bonus tracks to make up for the higher cost.
Isn't Pinkerton's deluxe edition exactly that?
>bonus tracks are so good that the alternate version of the album that features them is as good or even better than the original version

Basically describing The Who Sell Out.
The release version is only 38 minutes long, but there are so many high-quality extras and cut songs that weren't included and they bump it up to 76m. As I recall, some user here cut together all the extra content so that it flowed seamlessly.
