Discovering music

>discovering music
>download like 25 new albums
>man I have so much new music now, I probably have all I need for good
>next day
>oh wait what's this
>download like 25 new albums
>repeat
Does anyone know this feel? I just want all the good music.. but it never stops

Do you actually listen through all this new music or do you have like a dozen albums that you downloaded on a whim but never bothered to actually listen to?

yeah and then what.cd died

how the fuck do you find so much music you like?

but based soulseek resisted

Can only listen to one album at a time, user. Better to have a massive backlog before the internet is totally policed.
I like a lot of genres and I browse Sup Forums everyday so I always find something I didn't know about.

this is me with porn

lol, not at all

>he still downloads porn

>Can only listen to one album at a time
Pleb

lol triptards!

hard to fine streamable amatuer porn bro

Imagine what it was like before the internet...

YES this is exactly me. i end up downloading a shit ton of music. i am also into several different genres. i look at it as building up an arsenal for when the freedom of the internet is completly gone. i end up downloadin 10-15 albums a day and listening to like 5 a day. i now have more than 2200 albums in my itunes and have probably listened to 2000 of them.

The video quality on streaming websites is usually bad,

i know this feel.

i do the same but all i download is shit, of 20 albums i download i delete 19

lol wut

Why don't you just get a gf to satisfy you?

>watching streams

don't tell me bro.
I have literaly thousands of videos waiting to be downloaded on eMule and Torrent because I don't have any more space on my 3 external hard drives.

I've done this pretty much every day since I started coming here (around June 2016), only I'm using Spotify so I don't download them, I just have a certain playlist which is like a "to do list" with evvery album I wanna listen to. The most backlog I've had was around 2000 songs or so, but It has never been empty since this summer, and I still listen very much each day. There's just so much good music with potential out there, you don't wanna miss it, know what i mean?

manyvids m8

youll stop this once you find the stuff you actually like

same

I download a bunch of stuff and then end up listening to old stuff I already like cause I'm too lazy to get into new stuff

Where does this stem from? Is this just a character flaw of being easily overwhelmed or are you a really basic bitch that just likes to see the number of his total mp3 count go up but not actually spend any time on it?

I don't have this issue, I use spotify to discover music, and I download the albums I like enough for a 2nd listen. Although I have a problem with being too selective, almost to autistic levels, I find albums and I get extremely passionate about them and listen to them over and over and swap between favorites, then eventually something new enters the circle. I don't have the attention span required to listen to more than 6 new albums a week and come away with any impressions whatsoever from them.

let's get to the real discussion here though

streaming porn or downloading porn?

Just develop a deeply personal taste and focus on that particular sub-sub-subgenre.

If you're downloading more than about one artist per month, your taste isn't refined enough.

>2017

>Downloading albums

...

dope. even more important than listens are re-listens. you'd be surprised how much your opinions change on the same stuff

i get it straight to my brain with the microchip

>caring about audio quality on porn

Anyone else listen on 1.25x to get more albums in?

You have to be shitposting.

...

I do 1.1 at times too it's not challenging to understand what it would sound like at normal speed.

I watch all my TV and movies at 1.1x speed. Can't really notice the difference and it's like time travelling.

>If you're downloading more than about one artist per month, your taste isn't refined enough.
This is so fucking ridiculous. Here's your (you).

>you don't wanna miss it, know what i mean?
I know that feel man. you ever think about how you'll die and in theory have only heard half the music you would have loved?

why stream it when you found videos that are tried and true

Sorry I'm not a consumer pleb that gobbles everything up.

>pirate
>consumer pleb

Consumer culture doesn't begin when you hand over your money. It begins when others engender a desire in you with their various advertising and cultural manipulation tactics. Even if you never pay a dime for music that you relentlessly collect, you are still being manipulated.

You're assuming a lot of things about other people. Sounds like you should work on being the best YOU you can be :)

Assuming? Not so much. I've studied biological and sociological perspectives on music. If you think it's as simple as "oh, this music sounds good to me, so I will listen to it", you should do some research of your own.

we're hoarders

hoarding music and ebooks and image macros

I tip my fedora sir

OK. The option is always there, though. Have a nice day.

Go on youtube and use the related videos and browse Sup Forums, and look at TND because he will have something obscure sometimes

>it's like time travelling

Downloading porn is better
>quality is astronomically better
>video will never buffer
>usually you really like the video otherwise you wouldnt be downloading it
>hou can research it anytime you want with or without Wi-Fi
Same concept with streaming music or downloading it

>research
Rewatch

I guess it depends on how you value porn. To most people it's as disposable as the kleenex.

Holy kek, that's not my point at all.

I do 4x speed when listening to an album for the first time. If I like what I hear, I'll go back and listen to it at 1.5x speed. Saves so much time

>Saves so much time
This is a whole new dimension of autism

>mfw I watch needledrop reviews at 1.5 speed

I know this feel. Even with 2 albums a day I never catch up to the backlog.

oops wrong image but either works

>not just skipping to the end

>not just reading the description

>not just not watching it

This

also, mrw
>watch the review/10

>watching the needledrop

>watching YouTube

>using the Internet

If I ate that steering wheel, would the car die ?

>it's like time travelling.

Well if I speed up 120 minute movie 10% it becomes a 108 minute movie, so I travelled back in time 12 minutes. Don't tell anyone it's my secret.

You watch a 90 minute flick in 40 its like going for 90 in 40 they love it.

TELL ME MORE

Ok fine. Sometimes instead of microwaving my hot-pocket for 3 minutes as prescribed, I will do it for only 2.5 minutes, thus time travelling 30 seconds. If I do this with enough daily activities it adds up to a lot of time. I'm actually posting this message from yesterday.

absolutely revolutionary

Of course. Feel free to time travel yourself but don't tell too many people. You wouldn't want the whole world doing it would you? It would really mess things up. "Hey I thought our date was today?" "Sorry babe it's Sunday for me still". Stuff like that

Good movies have good pacing, you're microwaving a dish that should be in the oven!

I just got over the fact I will never finish my music wishlist and enjoy music normally like before
There is too much good music in the world, and I don't even listen to particularly obscure stuff

you got it

thank you for the lesson, sensei

>replying to my post

yes and I actually listen to most of them
all of them sometimes, I have nothing else to do

>posting

it would be extremely painful

for you

>I buy my music so I don't know this feel

But I do go on binges where I find new musuc
