Shilling old shit before getting around to new shit
Love how noisey it is, also the production quality is impressive as fuck. The first track "devil int he dessert" legit reminds me of some early dinosaur Jr-tier shit, and anyone who resembles MAscis is worth a listen in my books.

the dude i made with this has disappeared off the face of the earth; i'm not even sure he's heard the full thing himself
here with some stuff I had the chance to listen to.
Some proper eerie ambience man, works up an atmosphere really well.
Sounds like a manic reincarnation of Animal Collective, pretty mental but fun to listen to.
Damn how the hell have I not heard this yet, I have known your shit since Basic Terror. This album sounds incredible already listening to a couple of tracks, will listen to more later.
Liked the sound, very chill and the samples used, was short and sweet to listen to.

like the vocal samples you use and how dreamy this is, makes me feel like i'm on the beach
love the cover, but this sounds way too much like animal collective. like it's well done and all, but why if I wanted to listen to something like this I'd just put on MPP
Tracks these long are very rarely ever justified, and I can't take someone seriously when their discography is this big. Also what's with all the different names?
unsettling, but it seems that's what you were going for. I like all the different textures I'm hearing in this stuff, whispered voices and birds whistling, strange electric flutters, piano, organ, bells.

I listened to some of this. Pretty comfy stuff. Very clever (but devious) to give out codes... I might have to try that...
The production on this is really lofi but feels really good. It feels condensed or something, don't know how to better describe it. Interesting and intense music.

Not sure, but it seems that post went through fine. Just copy and paste what you wrote before posting just in case you get the error again, then try try again until it goes through
recs:
Great to see you out with a new album, I remember hearing you when you released Giver Takes (to which I heard references in the lyrics of this release ;)). Great stuff as always, some really good tracks on this :) You're an amazingly talented dude! Are you planning on releasing anything in 2017?
Hey! I listened to your album! I love it on a compositional level, you have some great ideas with the patterns you wrote and how you work with them against the atmosphere. I also loved how you use noise on tracks like Something Dark and Unwholesome Lurks in the Shadows. As I said before, the mixing does stick out as unpolished. Experiment with things like resonance, EQ, and the attack knobs on some of the synths you're using to make them blend into the mix on sections where that would be desired. This is seriously great stuff though, I'm looking forward to your next release, I know it's gonna be great :)
It went through! I had to separate it from the part where I promote my album. Now that part is failing whenever I try to post it alone.

Still no! This is so strange

Thanks a lot! I see (well, hear) what you mean by some of the melodies being more in your face. I could experiment with mixing a lot more than I have. On my first release I didn't do any kind of mixing or mastering, and on the second I did a minimal amount. I'm working on a few things already which I'll be sure to post when they're finished!

As usual, gotta rec. But alas! I have noticed a flaw! Your description uses the term "more and more older", when it should be " more and more old" or "older and older"! Absolutely unforgivable!
CD does look great though.
I get similar vibes from this that I get from Murmuure and maybe a tiny bit of Geinoh Yamashirogumi (Although rising up ot Geinoh levels of quality is damned tough). May break my top 10 for 2016. Will have to listen through it a few times.
Never before have I listened to prog rock while simultaneously getting hints of Good Charlotte-era edgy teen emo pop. Very unique. Would love to see you pull in more elements from avant-prog/canterbury scene/zeuhl/brutal prog styles and not just roll along with neo-prog dickcheese. This is a unique sound, hope it can be refined and expanded in the future. I really enjoy this though. Nostalgiac and interesting. Very cool.
>better sounding mix
Yeah, that's the one thing I'd change if I could, but unfortunately with the way I recorded it the way it sounds is pretty much the best I could get out of it. Also it was mixed on headphones, so sometimes it doesn't translate well to certain environments (which is why this album is really meant to be listened to with headphones). My next album will be leaps and bounds above this one technically

This kind of music is interesting for a time, but a single track that's 32 minutes long is rather hard to get through.
A lot of interesting sounds and ideas, but feels a little unfocused.

myself : : digging it, what are you currently working on?
You should start a band with that many musicians around you, also how did you record this?
like how diverse this sounds, one of the few electronica albums I've liked in one of these threads
This is well produced, how did you record it?
like all the weird sounds on track two, the flushing toilets, what sounds like a whip and a rabid cow. I think the third song is really out of place though
I hired people who sent in parts and mixes. some parts I went to a recording studio
What's that sonny boys? My vision isn't what it used to be.
You said a hand cramp thread?
:P
sorry grandpa, those are over in
cool stuff, I can't wait till i have the cash (or the friends) to get to play on a session. Or maybe I'll just learn every instrument
Yeah I wish I could play every instrument as well
Don't you just hate when you can't play every instrument?
The worst is when your friends want you to play the limes but your parents would only pay for orange lessons.
Sucks when that happens
...
He's not the limes guy we deserve, but the one we need right now.
