Synthwave

Any of you dudes listen to Carpenter Brut or Perturbator or any other synthwave artists? I'm curious.

Perturbator is dope. You may also like darker stuff like god module

Check out Occam's Laser and Gost. Gost is one of the only artists I think might be darker than Carpenter Brut

A shame his latest album was disappointing.

is mediocre

Great shit.

Trevor Something is the be all end all of synthwave for me. I'd highly recommend giving TSDNE a full listen. I prefer Death Dream, but most people seem to like TSDNE more.

Non Paradisi? I actually kind of liked that one. Sure not as good as the first, but I liked about half the tracks.

Power Glove has good shit. Some nice low synth sounds.

>decent but not outstanding synth tunes
>boring as fuck underwhelming vocals
>overall less compelling than the average new wave album
>be all end all of synthwave
shaking my head to be honest family

To each their own user. I love the vocals and synth work. It's not overly '80s in its tonality but still has the nostalgic vibe the artists shoot for.

You don't have to like it, but I really recommend sitting down and listening to TSDNE cover to cover before making a definitive judgement.

>tfw going to see carpenter brut and dwtd in march

it's gonna be a good time lads

What type of synthwave is this? Specifically track 2

John Maus and Drab Majesty are the only good things to come out of this shitty fedora revivalism

10/10 post

I'd really like to go to a Carpenter Brut live show but I'd have to find a way to make it to Chicago. Also, which Perturbator album should I start with?

I Am the Night and/or Dangerous Days

His older stuff is more ambient and moody, his newest album is pretty loud and heavy
