i don't care. it's the same fucking movie as goodfellas (which was good). the village was enjoyable, not the best movie ever, but casino really made me angry. best scorcese film is cape fear, but most scorcese movies aren't that good

My favorite scary or horror film - above and beyond the Exorcist is the UK film I saw once, but cannot recall its name is a film where children and people of a rural village discover pieces of fur or flesh lying upon the ground. It apparently affects them as they keep it in secret individually, and the pieces are pieces of the devil and all sorts of fun things happen. It's likely from the 1960's or 1970's. Lovely effort with low budget.

I don't know how to respond. Because you're right and if there's any criticism of the movie that would be it.
But I do hate to have my intelligence insulted by directors like M Night whatever. Fuck "enjoyable" I want a piece of art for an adult, with some intelligent subject matter to chew on or start a conversation.
Also, your opinion on Scorsese is subjective, fair enough. But there's a reason he has a masters degree in film. I think you would respond better if you were more informed on the cinematic canon. So as to see how he has developed the art.
