Beer doesn't necessarily go bad. Might taste a little off but, if it was properly bottled, won't make you sick. The stuff at the bottom was probably there when you bought it.
Unless it's been open for 15 years. In that case, don't drink it.

Its going to taste weird, maybe like beer, maybe like malt vinegar; the sediment is harmless, just ancient dead yeast, just kind of gross. The alcohol, meager may it be, prevents the growth of anything dangerous.
