Gouge Away is very scream-y, female-fronted metal/emo kinda? i'm not super into metal so i don't know the closest sub-genre tag to apply to it. i found it on an emo forum though, but it's definitely not like twinkly or pop-punky. if you know Drug Church, it's kind of similar, but heavier.

Dorthia Cottrell is a fucking top-tier vocalist, she's the singer for Windhand (Doom Metal) and her solowork is more melodic acoustic. I am in love with her vocals in every sense of the word
