Come gather 'round children

Come gather 'round children,
It's high time ye learned,
'Bout a hero named Homer,
And a devil named Burns.

Unironically the Simpsons' best ever episode

Now do Classical Gas

Last Exit to Springfield and The Itchy and Scratchy and Poochie show are tied for the two best episodes imo.

So we'll march day and niight by the big cooling tower...

They have the plant but we have the power..

>last exit the best

Nah, I don't go for those backdoor shenanigans user.

best scene of the series

Sure I'm flattered, maybe even a little bit curious

First thing tomorrow morning I'm gonna punch Lenny in the back of the head

I'm a union man. Been ILWU for 9 years. A couple years ago we had to suffer through a pseudo lockout (employer cut all night and weekend work and only ordered the bare minimum for day shift). When I watched this scene during the Every Simpsons Ever marathon, I actually got a little emotional and shed a couple tears.

>tfw the simpsons have more bad seasons than good ones

Tied with 'Homer at the bat' for me.

Monorail is sooooooo overrated.

Is there a better song?

Homer Bad Man is the best episode

Don't forget Cape Feare

I always lose my shit when the squid collapses and dies

is there a smaller picture

Song gives me chills. What I wouldn't have given for an extended version.

So many great moments

What's it like being a fucking union thug extorting a business owner? The market determines wages, not the mafia. Get a job.

..like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville...

>be employer
>family business, promised father on deathbed you'd keep it going
>slowly being destroyed by big market competitors and the fucking unions bleeding me dry
>profits are razor thin when at all, unionized staff makes more than you do
>finally have to cut overtime (nights and weekends) and some hours during the week just to stay this side of the red
>local ilwu strikes
>tearfully visit father's grave and explain how the business was closed

Why should the employer be entitled to more than the worker?

Kek user. Your dad raised a pussy

Its one of the best episodes on ANY show ever!

Just watched A Millhouse Divided again.

Really great episode.

to expand the business

This.

Moe, Moe, Moe!
How do you like me? How do you like me?
Moe, Moe, Moe!
Why don't you like me? Nobody likes me.

We can't all be scumbag degenerates, living off protection rackets until we've finally sucked the last drop of blood and crash the industry.

nay

Alright, who said that?

>22 years ago an episode of the simpsons told us exactly what the world would be like in the future

Who Bart Sells His Soul here?

one of the comfiest to be sure

So we'll march day and night, by the big cooling tower,
They have the plant, but we have the power.

My favourite part of the episode.

...

Ameriburger being this anti union bc he thinks he will be the employer one day kek.

Homer goes to college is top comfy

>Mr. Simpson, Garry split his ear medicine

Thank you both.
