No it's not. It's just your opinion.
>No Vanilla Ice

no aesop rock, danny brown, kendrick, yeezy, denzel curry, RTJ, the roots, migos
>No Paul's Boutique
into the trash
Aesop Rock - The Impossible Kid
Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
Kanye West - The Life of Pablo
Denzel Curry - Imperial
Run the Jewels - Run the Jewels 3
The Roots - undun
Migos - Culture

Eh fuck it I'm gonna dump my hip hop decade charts here.
It'll make some good discussion.
funny
(1/3) 90s.
>no kendrick, roots, Danny Brown
Why?
cause he's heard them already probs
fuck off with your gay ass charts
>music
Oh, alright fair enough.
I can't look at readytodie anymore without thinking of that god awful Kodak Black cover
Also completely sane to add the Be Kind Rewind meme, Dr. Dre's a good pick, Snoop Dogg definitely a good choice as well.
I mean I'm boiling this list down to a mix of "The Best vs. The Most Popular"
Also no 2Pac WHATSOEVER gtfo
how did you know its gay? did it touch your butthole?
>Das EFX
Holy shit some rapper had that gay ass haircut before this decade?
>Danny Brown
>RTJ
>Twista
>Jay Rock
>God's Son
Lmao listen to more hip hop
ayy fuck u mane
See Here.
B I T T E R.
A$AP ROCKY and Lil Yachty? God I think I'm gonna vomit
I honestly miss Captain Murphy so bad
Jokes on you, you got the out of date one, buckaroo.
No Dan Brown?
He has the out of date one.
The second one is the updated one I made.
Oh shit bois I fucked up. I have a question though, why is Atrocity Exhibition behind TLOP. From the rest it seemed like you were going in chronological order
>B I T T E R.
you post these in every fucking hip hop thread. you expect me not to be pissed off?
top section is way better than the bottom. Pretty dope list though.
Wayyyy better list. Could use some Danny Brown though.
Is MBDTF a very influential album and overall great record? Yes, most definitely.
Just can't see how it's one of the best rap albums of all time considering the lyricism isn't all there and some of the songs aren't even rap-oriented they're more focused on beats and more of a hip-hop vibe. Other than that I think is a much better list overall.
I love all every album on this list but I can't stand biggie or tupac
I've listened to their stuff but it just doesn't vibe with me
Everything I do 'pisses people off' for some reason or another so...t.b.h. I'm not surprised.
That's not the updated chart.
I said it THREE times.
Learn to read.
...
already love kendrick
can't get into roots, brown
already tried it
No I mean I didn't see any Danny Brown on the first chart I linked first because I thought it'd be at the end man. Then I saw Danny Brown on the bottom all the way to the left in not saying it's updated, but it's got Danny Brown which I didn't think it had before.
checking Quasimoto, heard a lot about him
Oh. Shit I'm sorry man I shouldn't have snapped like that.
But to answer your question yeah it's suppose to be chronological. They were re arranged like 3 days ago.
hes dope as fuck
the unseen is by far his best though
and also you do know hes the same guy as madlib right?
>Jay Rock
Nigga this ain't 2010
Mos Def really does not deserve to be on this list.
There are so many albums out there that blow Mos Def out of the water.
The Score. Fear of a Black Planet. Stress: The Extinction Agenda.
also I feel like you're excluding A Tribe Called Quest cause they're popular right now.
>Has Lil Yachty and all the first two run the jewels but not the hip hop album of the decade
Drop LAD and last 3 on bottom row.
Needs Low End Theory at least
Guy who made the chart here.
Tell me the name and when it came out and I can throw it on.
Trapo - Shade Trees (2016)
It's called Clipping- Splendor and Misery (2016)
The sad part is that half of your list is absolutely correct. It's a shame that the other half is shit

Actual best list btw.
What is the thing with Danny Brown here?
Thanks. It's on there now.
two nas albums and no biggie
>fake
something could replace Mobb Deep (Tribe? or the Roots?) but this is a great chart
respect for Public Enemy but I think a little overrated because of how popular it was
There hasn't been a significant hip-hop release since MBDTF.
1-10 right here
I like Hell on Earth better than Infamous
Danny Brown is really good, user
Objectively wrong
is today recent enough
youtube.com
I bet you feel real stupid rn
listening to rodeo rn, this is exactly what I wanted, thanks
>Sup Forums doesnt appreciate readie to die
oh. who wouldve thought?
but I do
Oh its not on the 90s chart, huh. weird.
>Oh its not on the 90s chart
...Yes it is....
Where's SUBTLE!?!
Oh shit I forgot about them somehow. They're GOAT
I can't take bad autotune. 808s is the right way to do it, this is the bad way
Damn I feel bad that you've never listened to Rodeo but I'm glad you're finally introduced. That shit is some of the best production I've ever heard hands down.
yeah I remember listening to a lot of songs featuring Travis and they were all dope
now I see why
>no low end theory
It never ceases to amaze me how bad Sup Forums's taste in hip hop is. Stop trying to act like you know hip hop you wannabee
kek.
personal opinion pls no hate
I've noticed something. The telltale sign of spotting a backpacker when it comes to hiphop is how overwhelming east coast their list is. Love how they'll also sprinkle some west coast on there to "keep it real", but don't have any influntial southern acts.
>a backpacker
Help me out, friend.
What exactly IS a backpacker? I hear the term used all the time but never get what it actually means. Is it an insult?
>all screwed up vol. II
Poser detected. Let me guess your favorite grey tape is Codeine Fiend?
Fuck outta here.
Yes. I know google exists. The descriptions from wikipedia and UD were worded pretty vaugely so I wanted some clarification.
No need to be a condescending dick, sheesh...
>no TPAB
kek nice meme OP
Lolololol
Listen to what you like but don't try to tell me that RTJ or 90059 or half the shit on this list is ***objectively*** in the top 10 hip hop albums of all time
rappers who think they can rap about anything other than big booty bitches are backpackers in my books
nice meme
>muh durags and timbs, muh cristal, muh gentrification
>deadass b
My sides.
