House of Cards

Who would this guy be in the real political scene? Also House of Cards general

His wife is definitely Hillary

Literally Eduardo Cunha, brazillian congressman, but you've probably never heard of him anyway.

Is this a thinly veiled Sup Forums thread? Whatever, l'll bite.

I assume we'rr talking about Season 1 Frank, because everything that came after is crazy and impossible.

Anyway, pretty much every mainstream politician has the potential of being like Underwoord. They're good with people and the electorate, but most of us will never know their true colors and how they act behind closed doors with fellow politicians and special interest groups.

>Claire being that careless and inept

Is he the tv version of Hilary?

>brazillian congressman

>in 3 or 4 decades there will be a political drama of Hilary either made by HBO or Netflix

trump

Not even close.

That already exists, it's called Madame Secretary.

he exists in a world where everyone else is retarded and doesnt see he is clearly using them and has no idea how to fight back, he would probably get annihilated in real life politics from being too obvious

You're right, Claire Underwood is actually attractive.

Have you read the Clinton kill list? Among that and the scandals the Clintons have been under, that and being charged as a sociopath/manipulator by Christopher Hitchens, it's not hard to see the parallels.

The Underwoods are literally based off the Clintons.

When was the moment you realized HoC was total garbage

Mine was when the President of the United States resigned because the fact that his wife went to a psychiatrist became public.

LBJ

Don't buy the theory that he's based off the Clinton's. I think it's just a coincidence especially when he starts murdering people with suicides. Kevin Spacey is gay for Bill too.

>Kevin Spacey is gay for Bill too.

Even more reason to believe it's based off the Clintons.

I find it hard to believe that he would sign up for a role where an expy of Bill Clinton is a complete sociopath and murderer.

CIA / TRAITOR.

Actually, he looks like this.

How about 1 decade and it's centered around both hillary and Trump's race to the white house

Bill Clinton watches the show and loves it and said that it is "99% accurate to what goes on in Politics".

Well to be fair, it was more about the fact that him taking xanax was made public in tandem with the scandal of them coaching the counselor that worked with him.

It was blown up to be like OUR PRESIDENT IS BREAKING THE LAW, IS IT BECAUSE HE'S JUST A CRIMINAL OR IS IT A RESULT OF HIM NOT BEING IN THE RIGHT STATE OF MIND DUE TO MIND-ALTERING SUBSTANCES? REGARDLESS, IS SUCH A MAN RIGHT TO LEAD? After all the cocked up energy crisis and China stuff, people were already calling for his head.

It didn't at any point seem NEAR serious enough to even contemplate a resignation. Both in the magnitude of the supposed offense and in the way it was portrayed in the show.

It just seems incredibly silly consider he would be only the SECOND president IN HISTORY to resign, and the first one only did it because he was fighting and losing a protracted legal battle that forever tarnished the office and impeachment was almost INEVITABLE.

It's okay because the show went to shit way before that when the White House turned into a high school where you could get away with spreading stupid ass rumors and being a gossip to convince the President and the Vice-President to turn on each other.

No one, RL politics don't actually work like your "shady intrigue" tv shows.

Brazillian politics is probably far more interesting than House of Cards tbqh

I see him as head of education.
