Ubuntu 14.04; switching to Debian once support runs out

VS was released for Linux

Fedora for my desktop, CentOS for all my servers. SUSE, Debian, Ubuntu as standalone virtual machines to test SaltStack automation and formulas.

I've used arch as a home/ desktop setting for a few years now, used to use Debian based distros before that. Don't currently run any servers but used to run some off my main machine anyway.

Fedora, CentOS and Windows

WINE for Visual Studio... do you even dotNET?

OR wine. I said OR. If you wan't to use Windows Application on Linux, use a virtual machine OR WINE.

Arch (KDE)

I have always wondered this, why do people cripple themselves installing an OS(Assuming its for daily usage) that doesn't have the flexibility of being supported everywhere?

i know most programs have support for unix systems, but there is always some program that you just have to use where there is no support for.

There's a Facebook Linux?? How do I get it?

Stupid.

What's a good place to start learning about linux

Depends what you use it for. There isn't any software I need that I can't get for Linux. In fact there's software I use that you CAN'T get for Windows.

Ubuntu is a good place to start. Just download it, install it and google shit when you need to find out how to do something. There's literally an answer to every question.

Arch.

I prefer Openbox. Eventually I will use tiling window managers, but I like the flexibility and minimalness of Openbox.
