Now that the dust has settled, where does this rank in television history?

Joint 2nd with the sopranos behind Fargo.

386th

top 100, but no higher

Below The Wire and The Sopranos

And Mad Men

1-4 are top 10

but if you include 5 it's only top 100

>Le wire is good meme

so, exactly 100th?

>And
So it's ranked 100. Give me 30 better shows.

It was a great commentary on American society for the first 2 seasons and then it went full retard to appease said society.

Its better than GoT for sure but worse than other shows like TD.

no, as in somewhere in the 51-100 range

Top Five

But that would be no higher than top 50 but no lower than top 100, user.

>All this BB positivity

Wha-where am I?

>tfw no one includes SFU in these threads

w-why ;_;

Which is what I meant, but I didn't think before posting

If we're limiting it to dramas then it's the best. If we're including documentaries, comedies, panel shows, game shows, reality shows etc. then it's somewhere around 6th.

There are elements that are god-tier and have not been matched in television, but the show as a whole doesn't hold up well. If you go back and rewatch all 5 seasons, you will see that about 60% amounts to Walt bickering with his cuntbag wife Skyler and side story arcs about the family that literally no one gives a shit. About half of each show amounts to soap-opera-tier garbage.

I would be surprised if you could name 50 shows better than Breaking Bad

Mid-tier with shit like Hannibal, Walking Dead, etc

I agree. It is top 20, top 10 perhaps. But best show ever? KEKNo

>lumping Hannibal in with TWD

nah

Number 2
Right behind the wire
Number 3 is Fargo

History is over?

It was the same weird American gore porn that god forbid has swearing or nudity in it.

The problem with such a request is that if I did, which I could, you and other BBfags would just shoot down 99% of them

>HAHA YOU THINK THAT IS BETTER THAN BREAKING BAD YOU HIPSTER PLEB FAGGOT

I'd rather not go down that road, so I respectfully decline

It's not the show's fault for the network's boundaries. I agree the show would have been way better on HBO or something but given the constraints they had I thought Hannibal was amazing.

Every single character in this show is either obnoxious or a dick in some way, except maybe for Walts retarded son, but he's retarded so who cares about him. It isn't very appealing to watch a show about characters like these, in a comedy show like Always Sunny it's very funny, but in a drama I can't really stand it. I guess people just like it for the action and suspense.

Twin Peaks, Twilight Zone, Brass Eye, The Sopranos, The Prisoner, Mad Men, Carnivale, Six Feet Under, The Wire, Deadwood, Jam, The Eric Andre Show, Home Movies, Rectify, Golden Age Simpsons, Rome, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Larry Sanders Show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Freaks and Geeks, Friday Night Lights, Luck, Louie, John from Cincinnati, Nathan for You, King of the Hill, I Claudius, Mission Hill, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, All in the Family, Planet Earth, Generation Kill, The Shield, Jeopardy, Berlin Alexanderplatz, Heimat, Scenes from a Marriage, Dekalog, Top of the Lake, The Americans, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Black Books, The Office (UK), Riget, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia , Borgen, Cosmos, The World at War.

In direction i'd say it among the best.
In writing? Not even top 10.

You think Arrested Development is better than Breaking Bad??
The cinematography alone puts it above Arrested Development.

But I will give you the Twilight Zone, that's some good shit

> Two white guys who aren't complete cucks

Summerfags

I disagree, but I can see how you could prefer those shows. Thanks user.

why were there tits only in the pilot and never again?

why did they censor the 'fuck you' note?

Rome is better.

I wasn't complaining about it though. The show was good.

I like the show too, but I am positive the sudden appraisal of BB is due to the influx of summer posters.

>Deadwood
