Stop shitposting. They wore skirts because the school banned them from wearing shorts in summer because 'it wasn't part of the uniform'. Skirts, however, ARE part of the school uniform and it doesn't mention a specific gender.
It was done in protest on them not being allowed to wear shorts, so they wore skirts.

Here in America pretty much the only things we know about Scotland is that they wear kilts, play bagpipes, drink Scotch and say "laddie" a lot.
