What are some similar artists to Sleigh Bells that take pop and add to it until it has a huge sound? Crying does a similar thing and it sounds amazing. Is there even a term for this?

im not sure but i love Treats, that shit is so loud, not in a merzbow kinda way but it just sounds fucking huge. the drums are blasted the fuck out and the guitars sound so strong. the entire album is so much fun and loveable, glad to see someone appreciate this early 2010s album

is it maximalism?
I forgot, this album also does it incredibly well.
I know right, it's damn good.
I was thinking of that since it applies to lit, but the dictionary didn't mention it. It sounds like a good term though.
Visions also works. Any more?
Oh, almost forgot one of my favorite albums.
It applies here as well.
great album. Off My Grid is a fkn masterpiece.
Im having trouble finding things that sound a lot like Sleigh Bells except some lofi pop punk like teen suicide or wavves.

For maximalism FlyLo's Cosmogramma, Born Gold's Body Songs, and of course Sweet Trip.

If you like shoegaze there's a whole bunch I could rec.
Also, fun fact there's a japanese pop album called Park of the Safari by Aira Mitsuki and the first track sounds almost identical to Treats' first track (aira is the plagiariser). Cannot find a link :*[
Thanks, I need to relisten to FlyLo. I'd like to hear some of your shoegaze recs.
Pic related is a very nice shoegaze + chiptune mix
Looks like Teen Suicide are friends with Crying, that's cool.
Also Crying has a new Sonic the Hedgehog meme hat. What a bunch of madmen.
First thing that comes to mind for an big, loud, upbeat sound is

I have a bias towards extra noisy so these might not be your thing but try these (stick it out until the vocals in the astrobrite track it might change your mind)

here's one other thing. Its power electronics, distorted club beats. Huge and maximal. I have been shilling for this guy for years and no one likes it but why stop now? tracks are like a minute long and blend together with the transitions being some of the best bits. you should sample 14-16.

Oh woah neat find.
where should I start with Crying?
the album Bloom ( I think it's called)
If you're a fan of MPP, you might like this.
Cheers, extra noisy is excellent.
Beyond the Fleeting Gales. Get Olde is good too.
You're thinking of Beach House.
I was a little confused. Coincidentally, Get Olde has a track called Bloom so that's where I started.
kpop often has huge production
Dan Deacon's up there too, though with fewer elements and more structure.
Np, Beach House are great too.
Can you recommend some good, inventive kpop?
>huge sounding pop
you'll love this if you don't already know it
I'll try and post all the important ones.
Thanks!

Andy Stott is a big fan of Jai Paul's compression/release sequencing to make sp00ky sounds that get really close really fast.
The first few tracks to this album are mind-blowing.
You can really hear the influence. Nice song, I'll check him out.
this is really interesting. Good share.
Glad you like it, other people have told me it's too weird.
Bump
I also really like treats, and I found pic related satisfied that kind of raw loud sound that that treats had.
The screaming on this album is really good, nice pick.
Black Bananas is pretty good.
This is really good, thanks for sharing.
Final bump

I remember Filthy/Gorgeous was in a Tony Hawk game. Good stuff.
Ehh, you're right. I was too lazy to get a new album pic. Bromst is a lot better.
Yah I meant Get Olde, forgot the name and guessed Bloon bc of the song
