Because they're long, drawn out movies with melodramatic speeches and flat characters that make the experience something akin to watching a Soap Opera without the the shocking twists, followed by 30 or so minutes of invincible CGI dolls bang into each other ineffectively until one of them wins in a single shot.
If you're going to watch a low brow film, at least watch one that has good pacing, or humour, or characters, or action, or practical effects, or dialogue, or literally any of the things that make a movie enjoyable beyond flashing lights and big booms.
