I'm not sure where Densha Otoko threads belong, Sup Forums or /jp/? I'm downloading the episodes from my ps3 from kissasian. I'm at episode 6. Are there any other asian dramas like that?

I've never really watched any asian dramas. I do watch Gamecenter CX occasionally, also they added a show on netflix called Terrace House that's just The Real World but set in Japan. It's actually really interesting because japanese culture is so different from american culture. Even when people are fighting in the house, they're incredibly civil about it. Pic related was my favorite member of the house.

what's this?
Dude's a train?
His dick's wagons?

Keit-ai is better.

A boy falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

I... fuck japan is pretty fucking DEEP, there's nothing like this in my country, it's all multiculturalism, le sex joke and clapping

god that takes back. YEARS back. enjoyed at that time (when I was a little weeb). good times.

Stop posting that because it's already a thing.

It's already a meme, so you don't need to post it anymore.

Aoi Honou/Blue Blazes is I guess somewhat similar. It's a semi-autobiographical story of an aspiring manga artist in the early 80s who attended university with Hideaki Anno and some other famous people.

The soundtrack is also some serious business:

Kekkon Dekinai Otoko and Date are both about Sup Forums-esque sperglords who cannot into dating, so they're somewhat similar to Densha Otoko in that sense.

Keit-ai doesn't exist. It's an autismal Sup Forums meme.

will almost certainly get angry now and insist it's real, because nothing makes a meme funnier than getting angry when people tell you it's a meme.

>It's an autismal Sup Forums meme.
Define autism. What I read is gold.

>71246099 (You) will almost certainly get angry now and insist it's real, because nothing makes a meme funnier than getting angry when people tell you it's a meme.

Is this a thing now? Angry people shouting at you that you're the one who's angry?

As expected.

see

I didn't get angry, I just told you you were retarded for giving a negative connotation to something that's actually good. What would be stupid would be to deny it's not a real thing and I didn't because unlike (you) I'm not a fucking sperg.

Kekkon Dekinai Otoko (The Man Who Can't Get Married)

This is you right now.

The more you do this the less funny your meme gets, and it was never funny to begin with.

But seeing you buttmad is a reward in and of itself.

>he thinks he's replying to the same guy

Keit-ai is the worst meme I've ever seen on Sup Forums because you people take it so seriously and try to defend it as real.

OP, i have watched very few. I recommend following

1. a diary of tears : it is based on a true story of girl who suffered from muscular atrophy. Keep tissues ready nearby. Never watched such a good series.

2. Kekkon dekinai otoko: a /r9k/ tier architect who is very good at work but not good in social skills. pretty funny, realistic(unlike you know japanese things) and awesome.

densha otoko was nice but i think it's based on a manga.

Aoi Honou (Blue Blazes)
>TV shows women will never understand

>densha otoko was nice but i think it's based on a manga.
It was based on real live events. They just also made a manga about it.

Supposed real life events as told on 2ch. Unlikely it ever actually happened.

>Keit-ai is the worst meme I've ever seen on Sup Forums

Thank you. I'm honored.

They actually found the guy when they wanted to make the series.

Or so they said.

I don't believe it ever happened. People have also said there's inconsistencies in the story.

...

has nobody watched this? really?

the story was too animu tier to be believable. and there was a manga so i thought it was not real.

forgot pic

>forgot pic
Yes, we can see that

has nobody watched this? really?

I'll take a look user.

Should i watch the TV series or the film?

watch it bro. it is too brutal.

When they talk about that kei-tai shit meme I think it's the new Makoto Shinkai animekino

I don't get why it has an opening animu

It's based on the legendary opening animation made for the Daicon IV convention held in 1983. The people behind it later formed Studio Gainax, which made Evangelion.

youtube.com/watch?v=-840keiiFDE

The main part starts at 2:35.

older tv series, i think there are 11 episodes.

i don't think movie can do justice to the story of that poor girl. In tv series, you can see her condition getting worse slowly every episode.

DELET THIS

>Keep tissues ready nearby

Much nudes?

Nobuta wo Produce

It's a great show about friendship and growing up.

Has anyone watched Cinderella Sister?

From Korea. It has Su-Yeon from A Tale of Two Sisters in it.
