Good album
I concur
>Band uses 6505's
VOMIT
How can other meloshit even compete
>death metal band uses 808 bass drops
Someone redpill me on deathcore please.
>inb4 16 year olds come into this thread with their sunk cost fallacy's to defend their meme amps.
99% of it is garbage
0.8% of it is mediocre
0.2% of it is actually good
I GOT
NO MORE
GOD DAMN
REGRETS
It's just death metal with breakdowns.
1st album by the faceless
that's all good deathcore I know
prolefeed
Hot off the presses! Fresh meme fuel
Majority of it is real same-same, but sludgewave is a best.
>sludgewave
all sounds the fucking same
>everything is drawn from stock pictures
what are you boys blasting right now?
Into the Mirror Black is a pretty great album though
black metal is good
its a meme.
...
HUH
Horrendous Black Dahlia Murder style vocals (multi-tracked lows of course to make the vocalist seem better than he is)
Generic bass-dropped breakdowns and chugga chugga riffs
A few stolen riffs from Slaughter of the Soul (really only common in deathcore from pre-2010)
"Blasting" that's not all that fast
For the more technical bands they throw in some tapping/sweeping "riff" combination that sounds like something out of Ion Dissonance after each breakdown
All wrapped up in a pro-tooled studio safe sound
Deathcore is just a dumbed down version of death metal for MTV kids, there's a reason why since Attila became big, every core band nowadays sports that urban hip-hop look and makes their music sound like club music with distortion
>bootleg Heartwork
exactly, so there's no dip in quality ever
Aside from the christcore worship faggotry, i like this album quite a bit.
Also, Red Chord's Fused Together in Revolving Doors is pretty great.
forgot the pic
if you're a nu-male
fight me.
Vast majority of it is bad; only the ur-examples (The Red Chord, Glass Casket, some Despised Icon) is actually bearable. Pretty much all of it produced between 2005 and 2015 is into_the_trash.jpg material.

Deathcore bands with multiple good albums:
Thy Art Is Murder
Carnifex
That's it. The only other good deathcore you'll find is a 1-off album here or there. If you want to hear consistent good deathcore from the same band, stick to these two
You forgot Despised Icon
I'm not seeing it. Heartwork is one of my favorite albums, and this album sounds nothing like it.
>carnifex
>good
>plebs caring about musicianship or other beta qualities
>not just enjoying breakdowns for what they are
feels like I'm talking to a bunch of DT drones :^)
Take the L.
>The Red Chord
I never got why they get shilled so much as good deathcore. It's just a bunch of dissonant chords played fast with ofbeat drumming and whiny pre-teen vocals. They don't have any decent riffs and they can't structure a song in any way that's not a mess of random bullshit, why do people love this band so much?
Attila sounds way better on this compared to the studio version. his autistic grumbling better on the live version.,
no one loves it. its just the best example of tolerable deathcore.
I really like this one, kinda obscure band and their albums are all over the place but worth a listen
This showed up in my recommended feed, never heard of the band before youtube.com
What do you guys think?
Because they're still better deathcore than most of the shit.
Have you listened to Fused Together in Revolving Doors? A million times better than the shit that came years after it like Suicide Silence, BMTH and JFAC, even though those are cited as the big catalysts.
recommend me obscure black metal demos
Give me essential audience-core

what are your dream collaborations?
mine is Messiah Marcolin and ICS Vortex as a duo of lead singers
Second one was supposed to be

>riff starts
>riff stops
>"GO"
>riff resumes
Zach Hill
Colin Marston
Ron Jarzombek
Mike Patton
>listening to a band I like
>find out they played at Wacken before
>immediately delete them off my hard drive and smash all the CD's from them I own
What have you done today to kill poseurdom?
This is as good as it gets
someone give me some good power metal
>power metal
>good
this is legitimately good, the production is better than on refuge denied
man warrel dane was amazing pre-nevermore
>you
>opinions
hey at least you contributed in a meaningful way to this thread, this board, and the internet in general
dragonforce's first 2 albums, unironically. they're all such tight and catchy songs.
>got an A+ on a test I barely studied for
Metal for this feel?
>Sanctuary - Refuge Denied - Sanctuary
Djent
>bragging about A+s in high school
dragonforce
who here /chanting/
Anyone have that Vektor- Black future spurdo edit still?
That was a quality meme
...
anything more like this? dont say dimmu or carach angren.
>mfw Ed Repka has developed 0% since the late 80s
if anything this digital shit makes it look worse. sad!
Thanks my dude, dubs deliver
All you really need
The production on this album is truly some of the worst shit i've ever heard
this isnt even too bad
seeing atilla live you realize he sounds best when his mic is lower than the instruments so you just hear him muttering
he was turned up real loud when i saw mayhem and it was very offputting to hear the sound balance off like that
why does this album get so much hate?
Every face is reaction image desu.
because it's bad
Where is the best place to get lyrics? I can't find the lyrics for Katalepsy's Gravenous Hour anywhere. REEEEEEE
because nu-males
>looking up lyrics to metal songs
...
so you can listen to cannibal corpse and decipher the lyrics? bullshit
You can't? lmao
>cannibal corpse
>lyrics
pick one
Finally got around to watching Some Kind of Monster now that it is on netflix and jesus christ, what a trainwreck.
It was weird seeing what they thought about the album, thinking it was this big breakthrough knowing how it ended up coming out.
>all those albums
>no Behemoth - The Satanist
Shit meme
>Megadeth
no
Cannibal Corpse has some of the easiest vocals to understand in Death Metal. fuck off pleb
Rare good djent
youtube.com
but djent can't be good user
oh wow, people here have trash taste in metal
literally fucking kill yourselves and stop discussing my favorite albums you fucking niggers
what a crock of shit, those lyrics are undecipherable and you know it
not that guy but maybe you want to start with something a bit more accessible. some people just cant handle something as hardcore and extreme as cannibal corpse.
not sure your point, I like cannibal corpse, but I've never understood their lyrics until I read them
Yeah I've seen mayhem once. Never again.
how does your favorite band make you feel?
You must not listen to much black metal
you just KNOW
you fucking got me man
What does that have to do with shitty brickwalled production?
