This is a 7-minute instrumental single about rain, depression and animu girls. Lots of synthwave influences and some other retro shit. Sparse use of samples. Posted it yesterday, didn't get much attention, so here I am again. Hope you guys like it, I'll be lurking around to post feedback on other songs/albums
Howdy!

Had a listen and it's not for me. Like, at all. But from what I can hear - it's solid and well mixed too.

Nice piano sound. Is it live recorded or a VST?
The improvisations aren't something I'd listen to in a daily basis, but they're very good. Would fit well in a movie soundtrack. Sitting down for a piano improv session can do wonders for my mood, btw

Thanks for listening! No, that's a digital piano with some digital effects thrown into if for a good measure. No VSTs at all.
Hey, that's pretty gud!
And that's for listening!

a little underwhelming for my taste. variations could keep things a little more interesting. sun glitter was cool
develop this. it would sound good if you added some overdrive to the guitars when the crash comes in. also maybe try to add more high end to the crash. it would match that electric guitar and harp sound
hello! i put this album out last wk. hope you enjoy it. if you like it enough, bonus track included w/ dwnld. : )
Thank you, I will keep this in mind!
On the bench sounds really good! Have to listen it more after I get back from work. The Lo-Fi suits this type of music very well.

Currently I'm working on a longer album titled "Cпyтник/Sputnik" and it will be released later this year.
Is it just me or this sounds a bit flat for me? There are some foundations to be found but it's way under-produced and way underdeveloped that I wouldn't have share it. However, there are some elements which are neat. You know how to build a rhythm so that's not a huge issue. I would suggest sitting down and do some production work before recording something new. I don't know what is your recording equipment but I would into that too.
Cool but way too bright for me. But cool nonetheless. People who love synthwave will love this for sure!
Thanks for the feedback! Indeed, I agree with the "all over the place". Being a prog rock fan, I kinda like that feeling, though. But the line between "a musical journey, an experiment" and "a conceptual mess" is pretty easy to cross.
About your album, black metal isn't really my cup of tea, but the mixing seems really above average for the style. I'm particularly fond of the guitars in the first track. They're "juicy"!
Sincerely,
>too bright
Yeah I get what you are saying. The next release will have both bleak/gloomy and bright/optimistic tracks. It shall be a journey!

i like this. the guitar work is nicely unabashed and your voice has a nice tone. could use work on the vocal delivery, though. it's kind of awkward at times.
ah man, this is kinda awesome.
like it's on tape and 7 are great tracks. everything is real cozy and intimate.
Thanks for listening! I like your stuff too. For one I'm always for a cool baritone voice (however you should work on it, I feel that at times you don't hit notes well enough) and the productions you make is also quite interesting. So yeah, I'm all for that!

this is a project I did with my friends. None of us have really done a recorded project/been in a serious band before, but for what it is (recorded using basic equipment in a shitty classroom) I'm pretty happy with it. Would appreciate some feedback tho.
Woops! I messed up a little.

>would suggest starting with Queer or Mistakes
Sorry I messed up, but I love Improv II! I'm definitely going to download it and use it while writing, and check out your other stuff. Equally comforting and disturbing, it's impressive.
Thank you! Yeah, I do need to work on my voice a bit, and I have a bit since then - I suggested Queer and Mistakes as I think they show my vocals best.
I really, really like the sound you put out!
I really, really hate your vocals.
Dammit, the conundrum! I do wish you well however, because music is kick-ass. But these vocals... ugh, sorry, I just hate that style a lot.
Yeah, it's fine. Again, the vocal delivery is killing me. Just hate that high "whine", should work on the high registers a lot, A LOT more because it isn't something good. Then again, your music isn't bad. It's typical. Not bad, not great. Typical. Which isn't bad for a first project really. Wish you the best.
Really good music. I think you've got a nice voice too.
I really like this! I feel at points that the mixing of the guitars in comparison to the vocals and other elements can feel a bit crowded and claustrophobic - but I love your voice, and I love your arrangements, and songwriting, and you should be proud.
This is excellent for what it is for a few reasons - the complexity of the guitar playing with the impassioned singing is pretty fuckin impressive, and the songs themselves, especially for a high school group, are very well-written. Aer is right, in my opinion, though, in that the high end in the higher end of the singer's vocals is kind of overpowering and can get kind of painful.
some ambient shit, some post rock, some electronic whatever, listen or don't i don't really give a shit either way
>these covers ITT
do you people not know basic design
absolutely disgusting desu
>i share a city with this
Thanks for the feedback. Our vocalist just started singing seriously, so she's still learning and hopefully with time those higher ends will smooth out. Thanks for the compliments though! means a lot. as a side note we are a college band just starting out, but I can see how you thought we were high schoolers haha
Oh really? That's odd but cool, it's pretty isolated. Do you make music?
Sorry! Yeah, I just read 'classroom' and defaulted to school, not college. Keep up the bloody good work though.

I like the timbre of the song and the guitar part you wrote- however I think it'd be better if you sung rather than just talked. My advice would be to mess with layering/effects until your voice sounds how you want it to, it's possible that way to give your vocals melody whilst retaining the patter of speech.
