I bought a neck and a stock body from warmoth when I had some cash. The neck pocket is so shallow and I somehow fixed it to make it palyable but it is not satisfying. Today I've found out they have a option to make that pocket deeper and this should be the reason the guy who actually customized that body sent it back.

One instrument cable will connect your guitar to the pedal, from the pedal, another instrument cable will then connect into your amp. I'm assuming you don't have an effect loop.
The pedal itself needs an ac adapter. Make sure the adapter provides enough power to the pedal. You'll need to check the polarity as well.
