Gel: - ‘-1’ (2001)
>this album is a very overlooked cozy glitch/experimental electronic album. lots of great moments. if ‘IDM’ is extroverted, this album is introverted.

KONCOS - ‘Colors&Scale’ (2016)
>something about this album’s sound is wonderfully interesting/unique. quite a simple indie rock/pop album and can get a little too cheesy but some songs are fucking great.

Bibio - ‘Fi’ (2005)
>wonderfully relaxing, yet engaging ambient music. some songs are simply guitar, very comforting album. notable for boards of canada sending the album to warp themselves, recommending they sign him.

Drivan - ‘Disko’ (2010)
>another personal 10/10, also produced by kim hiorthoy. this one is an indie pop album with swedish female vocals. the songs themselves may be quite simple but there are lots of creative bits and samples that make the album great.

Yasei Collective - ‘so far so good’ (2014)
>futuristic jazz, with an emphasis on jazz. yasei collective is a pianist (playing synths), drummer and bassist with vocoded vocals. very tight pocket, the drummer is amazing. Impossible to describe their sound, truly unique.
>sample: youtube.com

Kraus - ‘End Tomorrow’ (2016)
>noise rock with a very electronic / processed sound. loud as fuck, the music wraps you in a blanket. great for blowing anxiety away.
>sample: youtube.com
mega.nz
Tricot - ‘T H E’ (2013)
>math rock / pop / punk. creative chords, lots of time signature changes and emphasis on rhythm despite a poppy feel. japanese female vocals may deter some listeners, though this album is very creative, maybe my favorite album of the ‘10s.

Plus-Tech Squeeze Box - ‘Cartoom!’ (2004)
>this album is basically the embodiment of ‘picopop’; frantic japanese pop with a heavy electronic feel and lots of wacky samples. this album is guaranteed to make you feel better while you relive your days watching cartoons as a kid. sounds like you are flipping between nickelodeon and cartoon network 15 years ago.

Can somebody please share July 1972 by Taj Mahal Travellers? It seems to not be in the archives nor anywhere else.
Thanks for uploading this! Been trying to find it since jtg recced the Brothers to me a while back.
I was told to come here and post my Eurobeat collection.
I have bad internet so I can't upload large chunks, but I'll try my best to fill request for the harder to find stuff or provide links to where you can get it.

This pasta is stupid. Allowing requests is stupid. The pasta should say NO FUCKING REQUESTS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Oviformia SCI - Hablamos de nosotros (2014)
>Synthpop, minimal synth, spaniard, archival 80s synth stuff
>Riding the coattails of Human League, OMD and other spaniard groups from around the same time like Aviador Dro and los Iniciados, Oviformia never got to properly release anything before refounding as Heroica. Here's all their previously unreleased recordings in top-notch quality. Calculated, simple Kraftwerksque melodies & futuristic, frivolous lyricism.

Anthony Davis - Variations In Dream-Time (1982, 256 kbps)
>free jazz, worth checking out if you like cool arrangements in jazz or you're a big fan of John Coltrane's Ascension. Also worth reading the little scanned image in the folder if you really want to see just how much work is put into this

Still requesting July 15, 1972 by The Taj-Mahal Travelers
That's mean spirited though. Sharing inherently isn't and isn't meant to be a mean spirited thing. That applies to both parties, though. One shouldn't request stuff without sharing something of their own, but someone with said album shouldn't hold it away and not share it with someone else either. Just be courteous.
No. Requesting in sharethreads shouldn't be tolerated or indulged. We used to have two separate threads, one for sharing and one for requests. Anybody who requested anything in the sharethread was reprimanded. The sharethreads were much, much better then.
But such a problem shouldn't be that big if everyone follows the rules and puts the share and request both in one post. That's why it's important that the etiquette be posted in the beginning.
It doesn't make any difference
>The sharethreads were much, much better then.
Music then music now what happened
www72.zippyshare.com
Pat Martino- Live! (1972)
>post-bop, fusion
We had one person only request so far in this topic, who then seems to have shared something as well. A difference is definitely made. Just because things used to be different at one point doesn't mean things will be what they used to be. Honestly so far the only thing shitting up this thread is us complaining/discussing this.
Requesting Motown - The Classic Years
can't find it on slsk
is it okay to make a request in the same post that you share something? I mean, I've done it and see people doing it all the time and will surely continue to, but I'm just curious if you think personally that's ok.
Los Campesinos! - Sick Scenes (2017)
>indie pop/rock very upbeat, but with a nostalgic element binding each one
>sample: youtube.com
I've been looking for Camp Cope's S/T for a while now and can't find it anywhere. Can someone take pity? I don't have shit for music on this computer so I don't really have anything to share in return :(

Why do these threads die so quickly now? We need more Rob Leereveld.
