No, as in Hardstyle kind of techno, Dipshit.

I guarantee that you've never heard actual dubstep before

rock music.

Not him, but you sir are the dipshit. Hardstyle doesn't have anything to do with techno

ok but what about techno kind of techno? Like Detroit shit?

>#notallwubs
fuck off with this

>dislikes classic rock
>likes everything it directly inspired

nice

>he thinks dubstep is Skrillex, Excision and those dweebs

uh so what is dubstep then smart one?

A lot of people think of dubstep as the recent mesh with house or whatever the fuck it is.

>Dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in South London, England. It emerged in the late 1990s as a development within a lineage of related styles such as 2-step garage, dub, techno, drum and bass, broken beat, jungle, and reggae.[1][2] In the UK the origins of the genre can be traced back to the growth of the Jamaican sound system party scene in the early 1980s.[2][3] The music generally features sparse, syncopated drum and percussion patterns with bass lines that contain prominent sub bass frequencies.

Rap

Have tried for years to appreciate it but I just don't get it whatsoever.

I love instrumental hip hop, trip hop, and rap that errs on the experimental side a la Dalek, Clippng, B L A C K I E, but everything else just bores me

you sound like that boring suburban white kid who thinks hes better than his classmates cause he listens to the beatles

>dubstep

I guess you miss some pretty good songs then

Excision is still a big name before. He made more deeper cuts up until he made the second album. Never the less, I like his production and style. Still wish he can make destroid come back

such as what exactly?

Dude, are we fucking stupid on this genre? We all know it started off with garage and grime. It still does have that general basis, and doesn't stray from it. That's what makes dubstep a crafty genre, as anything can make it, like from moody good-Living off the high, to culprate-mask, and to excision-Virus

youtu.be/8k_f2QK77ew

Name 1 dubstep producer besides Burial mate

skrillex :^)

Burial's style is more rooted in garage than what dubstep had turned into at the time.

You miss some creative ways of its genre. Even if it does have a pattern now, it can have a charm. Tell me again when you probably once listened to a UKF song for the first time? Dubstep shouldn't have the stigma of having a bad rep, since it does make people feel good or party

youtu.be/OD07JoLINdQ
Song has a nice retro game vibe, and the sounds under the screetches are incredible on a subwoofer

youtu.be/ceNLt5GwqxE
Good atmosphere to the song, and has plenty of flow given

youtu.be/ttAKtIy8wpI
More old school vibe but still has the power to stand out in today's dubstep scene

youtu.be/a81G0HrUcIc
Classic wubs. What else can I say?

youtu.be/CJzfTZlEl40
Classic song, and still holds up, even if it's a April fools joke

youtu.be/0L2M7Its9C4
Favorite chase and status song. Chilled out for the first drop and becomes a Funtcase esq ending

Fyi the kind music Skrillex makes is NOT dubstep. Ismt is the A.erican bastardization of it called brostep

>brostep

Wasn't flux also making that at the time as well? Along with bassnectar and excision and others? It sure isn't musical but at least appreciate it did get dubstep going.

it's not strictly american, british dubstep is far more locally confined than it
it is dubstep though, even if it sounds different. your derogatory meme term hasn't caught on outside of music communities made up of salty purists and contrarians like rym

This guy gets it
