Also, I hate EDM. While some of the things I do listen to border that term, dieselboy put it bluntly as "a fastfood" for music. I have been listening to DnB for quite a while, and find it better then the dubstep scene, but it has power still

No. DnB still exists and thank god the radios don't play them at all over here. It's a more niche genre and I find more enjoyment in it. You can just listen to it anywhere and have a atmosphere put in, rather then dubstep, which has this menacing tone that puts aggression and anger as the main moods, while DnB gets all across the spectrum of moods. Even DnB creators have been making more experimental things, like halftime
