Why the fuck do Americans refrigerate bread?

Why the fuck do Americans refrigerate bread?

Cold bread tastes different. Maybe they like the taste?

They don't eat it daily and they toast it. My wife does it. She was born and raised in Canada.

So that we can microwave it

Use you're brain moran

>She was born and raised in Canada.
what about you, chen?

My dad used to put bread in the freezer. It gave me chills.

Why is it leafs are able to produce top tier jokes and at the same time, the most awful posts this board has ever seen?

It'll get moldy fast in the summertime. Not as necessary in the winter.

I came here when I was around 10 years old. I thought putting bread in the fridge was weird.

...

Apologies, my sense of humor is stale.

Was it bread into you, or did you go against the grain?

You're supposed to buy bread freshly baked and eat it before it gets dry and hard.

Yeah well, in hot, humid weather, the mold is quicker than you.

I was moulded by it. We could not buy fresh bread, my father kneaded the dough.

I guess he just wanted a slice of that American dream. Something something, in God we crust. I got nothing.

My mom says it makes it last longer.

I've lived in Canada my whole life and think putting bread in fridges is weird

>and eat it before it gets dry and hard
a bit tough when you live alone

Cold bread is best for icewich

Look they're not even people.

Because they'd rather not go to buy freshly baked bread every morning by their local baker.

If that was the case she would put your daddy's dick in there too.

I do it sometimes too.

But why are there shoes?

Who the fuck puts bread in the fridge?
I have literally never met anyone who puts bread in the fridge.
I live in a hot, humid fuckhole, and unless you just fucking leave bread sitting out with no covering, it's fine.

In FL people even put dry pasta in the fridge.

Nigga they make and eat fresh bread in SEA without putting it in the fucking fridge.
Again we're talking about fresh bread stuff like baguettes and shit. That said I never put sandwich bread in the fridge either.

>He doesn't go everymorning take a fresh baguette at the bakery
I want foreigners to leave.

I've put some loaves in the freezer to keep it for a few weeks later but I've never put bread in the usual refrigeration compartment.

Not really sure what this whole thing is about.

that's not bread, that's toast

I'm guessing that's more to keep it away from pests than it is to preserve it. I'll put fruit in the fridge during warmer seasons to keep fruit flies the fuck away from it.
