in BvS' cameos they show his father save his life by using a Mother Box, a kind of high tech aliencomputer which turns him into the Cyborg we see now, in justice league there are other boxes the bad guys are trying to collect, from some of the set visit stuff it seems his father was abducted which prompts him into action when he initially refused to join Batman and wonder Woman.

Aquaman looks ok. I feel like Jason's acting will probably bring it all together once we get to see him do more than just float silently in front of a camera.
The Flash's concept art looks pretty cool, but I think Ezra miller will look terrible under it, especially if they keep the moustache he had during his little time travel sequence in BvS.
Cyborg's concept art looks dull and boring. I have a feeling he will look better in live-action though. I get the impression they're going to make him look creepy.

It's all down to the fact that when DC was rebooting their comics for 2011 they had to put their most recognizable characters on the Justice League with the primo number 1 incarnation, so no way was John Stewart going to be Green Lantern on that team, it had to be Hal.
Now typically that spot Cyborg holds would be Martian Manhunter (I don't get how a shapeshifting alien doesn't cover diversity on all fronts) but they said "fuck that" and chose Cyborg since most know him thanks to the popularity of the Teen Titans cartoon.
