fun fact if you listen to the flute solo you can hear a faint harmonical solo in the back from the version they recorded over. i forget the guys name but basicaly they took a copy of his tape and erased his vocals and recorded over it but it didnt erase all the way

listen to this version. this is the one they recorded over. Honestly i think his voice is not right for this song. but the M&P took their same backing vocals and just did a new main vocal
also lines like this were removed from the mamas and papas versions. they were sung as backing vocals but can still be faintly heard in the new version.
