What are some good 80's toons? I downloaded a whole bunch of complete series, so far: G.I. Joe: bad quips but god tier action and music. Never dull. Visionaries: terrible quips, but decent action and awesome setting. ThunderCats: Lion-O is autistic but the action is ok, Cheetarah is hawt and the music is awesome. He-Man: near-unwatchably bad, but great setting, great-looking characters and music. Teddy Ruxpin: jesus christ this first ep is boring and bad, I remembered it being awesome though.
Others I have ready but haven't checked yet: Ulysses 31, Silverhawks, M.A.S.K., D&D, Gummi Bears, Dino-Riders, Defenders of the Earth, Centurions, COPS - what's my best bet of finding a bingeable cartoon among these? Any others you remember?
honorable mention to the reboots of He-Man and Thundercats which are pretty damn good.
Forgot Transformers: We can fly in robot form but let's transform into cars lol, it was ok though hard to take Optimus Prime in the water seriously in the first ep, just fly out dude.

Inhumanoids.
Landon Gonzalez
>Inhumanoids Never heard of it! Looks ok though, unfortunately no torrents with seeders to be found
Jordan Barnes
The Real Ghostbusters
Sebastian Cruz
nice, forgot about that one, dunno how with all this ghostbuster talk lately, I remember Peter Venkman being a little bitch instead of based Murray in the movies, damn
Just remembered Bravestarr
Blake Wilson
Marshal Bravestarr Battle of the Planets Astro Boy Inspector Gadget Star Blazers Robotech Lost Cities of Gold Danger Mouse Bannanaman
Andrew Sanchez
I would bet that this 80's cartoon held up the best.
Mason Sanders
A lot of those shows have disappointing quality beyond the opening animation. That said
nice a few don't know yet and some nostalgia! Just thought of Superted
that's the meme one right lol, the 90s one isn't too bad to rewatch I think, I also have an episode of Ultimate Spiderman with deadpool that should be pretty good.
damn you a connaisseur
Benjamin Watson
Ulysses 31 is IMO the best of those you listed and haven't yet seen (episode where Yumi becomes a hot teenager for a brief period had a 'strange effect' on me as a kid...), I'd have to say Dungeons and Dragons as well out of pure nostalgia.
Cooper Howard
Robocop!
Levi Jenkins
nice tnx I'll check it out today, D&D too
whoa, nice tnx, hope it's at least decent
anyone know if Droids is any good?
Adrian Sullivan

James King
The Centurions
Joseph Nelson
Voltron Silverhawks M.A.S.K. was dope as fuck Gummy Bears no joke.
Dylan Walker
I'd praise the theme songs of MASK and Gummy Bears but goddamn almost all the theme songs for the mentioned shows in this thread are fucking based
Dashing and daring, Courageous and caring, Faithful and friendly, With stories to shaaaare
GI Joe actually isn't too bad as long as you can ignore the fact that people constantly shoot lasers and missiles at each other and nothing happens. They sort of fixed that later on when they introduced those robot Cobra guys.
Transformers is pretty awful. I can't remember a reason why the Autobots had to turn into cars instead of flying, other than to separate the characters with "bad guys fly, good guys don't."
He-Man is objectively the shittiest, laziest cartoon ever.
As far as non-violent shit, Garfield and Muppet Babies.
Dylan Rogers
Agree on all fronts
Putting Garfield and Muppet Babies on the list since you seem to know what you're talking about user, gg
Aiden Brooks
Beetlejuice was comfy
Aiden Jenkins
Loli Yumi was best Yumi
Cooper Bennett

Tyler Brown

Michael Hill
>only 1 person has said Voltron
I know Sup Forums is a bunch of 13 year olds memeing all day, but seriously what the fuck.
Jacob Parker
What's the point of repeating something we're not listing fav shows or anything, stop looking for butthurt mate
Christopher Morgan
Looking through this thread, the funny thing is most 80s cartoons I remember more from the toys than from the actual show.
Robert Russell
That's understandable, it was a golden age for toys, action figures were never as good as in the eighties.
Oliver Moore
NO JASE AND THE WHEELED WARRIORS? Fuck the lot of you.
Seriously that's the worst thing I've seen in a long while, definitely one of the worst intro's from anything in the 80s, any vid posted here today is better.
Parker Lee
For a western cartoon the animation really stood out at the time.
Josiah Adams
oh just watched a clip on youtube instead of just the theme song and I remember this, it's a lot better than the theme song makes it seem! Aight checking it out tnx man
Luis Lewis
anyone remember a cartoon/ maybe anime that I think was on cartoon network in mid 90s? All i remember was a space ship and a guy in a trenchcoat had a gun with 6 instantkill bullets that would kill him if he used em all
Jose Walker
I loved the shit out of this one.
Angel Fisher
Yea the opening song is dogshit, but that was common at the time. A lot of 80's cartoon intros literally just had lyrics where they just listed character names, and then "fighting the evil forces of ______". Repeat for every single show.
Sebastian Taylor
true for some, but the ones I've check so far have fucking epic opening songs
GI JOE, Thundercats, Heman, Visionaries, MASK, Gummi Bears just to name a few
can't help you man I fucking hated CN/Nick and regard them as responsible for the death of cartoons with that cheap shit flash-shockwave "drawing style"
Aiden Scott
>MASK
Mask is the worst offender for doing that though.THey literally just listed the characters and their powers/roles:
>Trakker's Gonna Lead The Mission, >And Spectrum's Got Such Super Vision! >M-M-M-Mask! >Always Riding Hot On V.E.N.O.M.'s Trail!
Trakker was indeed the leader of the Mask team, and the character spectrum had enhanced vision in his mask. The badguy organization was called V.E.N.O.M.
Still fun though. As kids we didn't know any better.
Nicholas Sanders
Mate that song is straight fire, I have it in my main 7k+ songs smartplaylist
Dominic Barnes
>For a western cartoon the animation really stood out at the time. Animated in Japan. If you're watching a show from the 80s or early 90s and it looks good it was almost certainly animated in Japan.
I think this is the first time I've seen people bring up 80s shows for the purpose of actually watching them. It seems like there's virtually zero interest in revisiting them.
Jackson Williams
that's because me, the op, is a relative newfag
Elijah Mitchell
go-bots? m.a.s.k. was cool too
John James
>Duck Tales >0 results
You fucking philistines.
What the fuck is wrong with you all?
Gabriel Lewis
fine then
William Turner
Haha I remember Go-bots, blatant transformers rip off but maybe even better
Matthew Reyes
25% of every Voltron episode was stock footage of them assembling. The concept/visuals are awesome, but the show itself is not.
Brody Mitchell
battletech. fueled my desire for mecha. re-watched it and it's still entertaining even as an adult
James Flores
>m.a.s.k. this nigga knows what's up
MASK toys were GOAT in the 80s >tfw i had the mountain base no idea what the fuck happened to it
Jonathan James
look at all the cartoons with guns, tanks, aliens and lasers. now look at the cartoons nowadays.
probably part of why all the kids are faggot leftys
Brayden Perez
My mom gave away all my toys to other kids to keep it from piling up...
My Masters of the Universe Castles, my huge G.I. Joe space station, my MASK mountain base, my WWF ring, my medieval Lego castles, my Thundercats thundertank, my Ninja Turtles Pizza shooter, jesus christ mom this shit would have been worth a fortune alltogether now and I still would have it all displayed in a glass case, in my dreams it's glorious
Brandon Martinez
been rewatching episodes of the original he-man series, was the 2002 version any good? I'm pretty excited about the new version that's supposedly coming out
Christopher Wood
the GI Joe aircraft carrier was sheer madness. Look at this fucking thing.
Nathan Bailey
All the cartoons of today were made by people who grew up watching those cartoons. All the guns and tanks and homoeroticism turned them in lefties.
Jackson Thomas
BODY MASSAGE
Benjamin Williams
The 2002 version is fucking awesome man, the original is like unintentional comedy, the 2002 has a great story, char development and the fucking Snakemen. Hadn't heard about a new version coming out, I just googled and found something about a movie is that what you mean? The Thundercats reboot is also great btw.
Jesus christ that's insane, I had the thing in this pic here, you could detach both ships, I had the most insane battles on that thing
that's a fucking heartbreaking assessment
Robert Lee
OP off to sleep, thanks for all the recommendations, gonna have to get a new harddisc to fill
Jaxson Diaz
Fuck senpai, the only time I've ever seen a USS FLAGG in person was when I was a kid getting my 1st G.I Joe figure and Vehicle (Cobra B.A.T and the Tomahawk helicopter respectively) and the Aircraft carrier was on display with all some of that year's Joe and Cobra vehicles on the deck.
Jackson Brooks
Super comfy early 90's cartoon right here.
Ethan Hughes
I wanted that shuttle so badly when I was that kid in the pictures age. Hell, I'd take it now.
Eli Phillips
I wanted 1 of these soooooooo bad, a nigga 2 houses down had one we brought all hour vehicles over his house damn near every day . I'm getting one from my local comic book store for $600 still in the box, my wife can kiss my ass I'm getting this
Thomas Adams
I still remember the name of Bucky's ship. The Righteous Indignation.
