Um we know tor is not secure.
Use tails and a vpn and you limit your risk of getting fucked.
Tails spoofs mac address and then vpn hides use of tor from service provider.
Also java and scripts off.
So wheres the point. At the very least if you use tor use a vpn so if you leak ip ots not yours and have scripts and java off. You should be safe. Tails is for the more caution.

TOR was dumb since the get go. Doesn't make sense to leave your computer on for days to download a video only to have the download fail close to the end. Everything about it was slow and the best place to hide anything is over the average part of the internet that usually has a train hype and it 404's if you're on the end of it. The FBI/NSA has been using 0day browser exploits to run arbitrary code and bypass your VPN to get your true IP. If you control all the devices at your IP, the MAC address won't matter, and even if you don't, there are other ways to fingerprint your particular device.
