I don't even listen to "real" jazz but life in a glass house off amnesiac is literally my favorite song atm (been about probably a year)
Start with the creoles.

i had my band audition today, was good, was pretty much me vs another drummer. everyone but the bassist were pretty awful. was fun overall though, first time playing with other people
the tune was "moanin" by bobby timmons btw, i did nothing but keep time, the other guy was way more skilled than i am and did all kinds of cool stuff with the snare

The only Sup Forumstants who listen to jazz are avant-plebs who will recommend you shit like Pharoh Sanders and Arche Shepp when you're really looking for real Gs like Charlie Parker and Duke Ellington.
Did you even look at any of the charts posted?
Are you insinuating that the people who posted them did?
OP here
jazz is boring
you have failed me
Wtf are you even asking?
If the people who posted their own charts looked at them?
