Starz bought by Lionsgate for $4.4B

Why buy this garbage channel?

They air shit uncensored. Better than most channels really.

I hope Lionsgate doesn't fuck with Black Sails.

they are probably the only channel that airs the newest movies that people legitimately care about

I'm not talking about some avant grade shit but typically main stream movies excluding certain WB produced movies.

even then they still get disney and other productions on that channel and I don't know how

>Why buy this garbage channel?
That's Epix you're talking about.

Next season is probably the last anyway

This.

Starz shows are actually pretty good

Spartacus movie, you heard it here first.

>Spartacus movie

Isn't that just gay porn?

spartacus is not game of thrones

Starz got that head of programming from HBO who got kicked out because he was a drunk even though he was fantastic and they replaced him with some retard that greenlit shit like vinyl and who's fallen on his sword to help save the company.

Bring it back!

I'm betting on 5 seasons, the creators said they have a basic plan to end at 6 seasons.

Its been renewed every season before the premieres so obviously Starz likes the show.

>there was that fire that burned down one of the ships though so even if insurance covers it producers might not want the production delays

American Gods is on the way and could be a massive hit if marketed correctly. This is a good move.

Good. HBO used to own them and purposely made it shit so everyone would subscribe to HBO.

Between American Gods and Ash vs Evil Dead, starz is looking pretty good.

how about some names big boy?

no i only know key words in wikipedia articles and i'm vastly wrong michael lombardo or something then the head of hbo comedy programming is now the head of all hbo programming and hes the reason why there's no vinyl season two thankfully

>Why buy this garbage channel?
For the butt pirates?

What was so bad about Vinyl?

>Not by Universal
>Ash vs Evil Dead still doesn't have the rights to Army of Darkness

Fuck this world

>garbage channel
are you aot of your mind?
Spartacus, Black Sails, Ash vs Evil Dead
all are mastrerpieces in their genre

me too

if they cancel muh Outlander i will freak the fuck out. i want to see native times

>obviously Starz likes the show
that's right, but will Lionsdale's like it?
will they leave Starz as it is, or they replace all bosses and so fuck up the whole crew?

how do you stomach that soapy shit.

Are you a female into love triangle shows?

Starz was worth $4.4 Billion? Really?

Starz?

Well, that American Gods adaptation doesn't have lack of money as an excuse any more I guess.

Sup Forums watched boss, I remember the weekly threads.

Lionsgate has a TV production division.

There already was a TV show and movie based on The Witcher that not many people know about or talk about.
