Lemme get this shit started before the other autists ruin this thread:

DUDE

A++ casting.

The casting is probably the number 1. everyone had great chemistry, and they captured the essence of the 70s to a tee. one of the best sitcoms ever

I don't know, they could have used a few attractive girls instead of the dogs they used.

>Laura Prepon
>unattractive

I remember when I was a virgin too

Red Forman did nothing wrong

found the Lesbian

>Donna & Jackie
>not goddesses

you fucked up son

This show was god tier when I was a high school edgelord

HOWEVER

Upon revisiting it on netflix it's just DUDE WEED LMAO and Red is the only good character. Have I gotten old, Sup Forums?

What the fuck were they thinking?

Nah I'm just a regular non-manlet american guy who lost his virginity at 16 and isn't intimidated by >5'8" women

It's okay squirt, you'll get to stick your peep in a girl sooner or later

She hit a wall hard once she hit 30

Maybe 5 out of all the 200 episodes revolve around DUDEWEEDLMAO as a central plot device.

Maybe you just have a low IQ

They all do

They were in a tough bind when the two most recognizable male leads decided to leave.

Thank god they didn't follow through on the idea to make randy pearson play eric who came back from africa a 'changed' man

that 90s show when?

she looks good in orange is the new black

mila kunis still looks just as good shes a milf now

Combine Broad City and Workaholics. Remove any anachronisms that allude to any time after the 90's (smartphones, widespread wi-fi, bluetooth anything, "streaming services", Web 2.0 crap [youtube, netflix, faceberg, myspace], etc.). Now pay me, Hollywood.

Probably after we hit 2020. Need that 20-30 year separation so that people who lived through the era can experience the nostalgia, while contemporary youth can get their first experience of the era through the show.

My theory is that that's why That 80's Show tanked. Most kids at the time had lived through at least the final part of the decade already and weren't interested, all they had was the nostalgic gen Xers

too bad her choice in roles has been utter shit

theres already plenty of 90s sitcoms that already capture the essence of the time period so well theres no need for it

Neither Laura or Mila have looked as good as they did in their 70s outfits.

This. Happy Days wasn't made in the 60s. That 70s Show wasn't made in the 80s. Gotta give it a couple decades.

It kind of makes me happy that her and Ashton finally got together.

true

Personally, it was how well they nailed the late 70's design. It's admittedly ugly as sin, but the brown, orange, and yellow color palette is 100% my aesthetic.

It was awkward enough that they decided to replaced Laurie and severely toned down everything about her to compensate.

You're absolutely right. If anything That 80's Show was released too soon.

90s - Nostalgia for the 60s
2000s - Nostalgia for the 70s
2010s - Nostalgia for the 80s
2020s- Nostalgia for the 90s

It adds up

Also the writers, producers and such start being kids from those decades, so they write from experience and nostalgia.

Name a sitcom with better cutaway gags

Midge or Pam?

>girls are unattractive
Dumb ass

The other day when I was hopping out of the shower I remembered this one

youtube.com/watch?v=TR3xgoIJcJE

>NO
>NOT THE LITTLEST HOBO

>Need that 20-30 year separation so that people who lived through the era can experience the nostalgia, while contemporary youth can get their first experience of the era through the show.

this is why Dazed and Confused was such an influential movie when it came out on VHS. It portrayed an idealized version of the 70s with a 90s era sense of self awareness.

Both. At the same time.

Midge, Pam is for plebs

It wasn't an excellent show, but it was hilarious and had perfect casting.

Nice trips and good scene senpai

This one is pretty kino in that it's both creepy and hilarious

Kelso and Jackie.

I dropped the show when Kelso left to California with Donna.

>tfw didn't start becoming "sexually active" until after I stopped watching this show
>rewatching this show after I started the whole dating and fugging thing
>wish I started dating and fugging at 14 like the rest of the Chads here in Chad City so I could have related to these cutaway gags better

Holy shit she looks so similar to Lara Flynn Boyle the non-qt version

Midge. Always Midge.

But that was literally for one episode, then they come back. And then it arguably kicks off the best stretch of the show until Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher left the show for the final season

Amen brother. Comfy as fuck

You're out of your god damn minds. Pam is the only correct answer.

>Midge
>not attractive
Pick one.

Are you asexual? Her face is cute and she's thin and she has a huge rack.

First season is unparalleled in terms of comfy

youtube.com/watch?v=jCHRkoMD3EM

You stupid fuck. Do you think that Laurie wasn't hot? They couldn't pollute the show with a lot of girls seeing as how they had a lot of the hottest girls starring whilst still I'm their damn prime such as

>Britney Daniels
>Lindsay Logan
>Jessica Sampson
>The girl that played Caroline, Fez gf
>Melissa Joan Hart
>DMV girl which was also FEZ gf

Lastly the goddess of all time Midge

Fuck your post faggot

EPISODE POWER RANKING

1.) Dine and Dash
2.) The Keg
3.) Eric's Birthday

power gap

9001.) Season 6 in general

Plebs will dispute this

Panic hiring in its purest form

It would have been less retarded to just not have him there, but allow them to still hang out in the basement for old times sake or whatever. They could have got letters from Eric or some shit to keep his hand in the story.

>season 6
>not season 8

See this is why you aren't a writer or employed in tv. Cause you don't have a knack for this kiddo.

Stick to playing with your magic the gathering cards ;)

Shit, meant season 8. Randy season.

For shame.

>Jackie and Hyde didn't end up together

>What went so right?

Funniest moment in this show is when Red goes into the basement and asks Hyde for a Beer, and after not believing him that he doesn't have any, Hyde tells him they are in the shower, so he looks and there is boxes of hundreds. Quality kek, the show is awesome.

Aw, they cut out the part where she wakes up and yells "TRAMP"!
