I fucking hate this. It shifts the entire tracklist. Seriously fuck every band/musician that does this.

>bonus tracks are distributed as singles
>while Japan gets it all full in an album

>download an album that has the bonus tracks
>delete them before i listen to it

>album has a beautiful organized climax
>bonus tracks begin

>the last song of the album has 20 minutes of dead air before a random voice scares the shit out of you

>bonus tracks are placed inbetween other tracks
>no CD issue with original tracklist
>one of the bonus tracks is good and the other's completely forgettable

Name one (1) example of this

>album criticising capitalism is entirely made up of bonus tracks all made for different counties

>album ends with 30 straight minutes of 9/11 phone calls

Oh fuck, this is even worse. There's this one album that I can't remember the name of where there's like six bonus tracks and their placed all along the tracklisting. It's OCD nightmare.

The only bonus tracks I listen to are the ones on XXX because it feels like a resolution to where 30 was the climax of the album

that one reel big fish album and Dopethrone come to mind

youtube.com/watch?v=Unkyz1GKcjs

>Two disc album has tracks which "mirror" each other on each CD

I know that Dopethrone's final track has 10 minutes of silence and then a final minute of two parents talking about if their kids are satanists.

Aesop Rock's Coffee, the last track of None Shall Pass

>middle of album is comprised of 15 minutes of interviews of child rape victims

>album is literally the audio from child porn

there's like 17 million albums (particularly CD presses) from the 90's that do the "hidden track" at the end of the last song if you wait long enough

spider scorpion or something like that, right?

>buy album on vinyl but when you take it out of the sleeve it's actually a laserdisc

>hidden track can only be found if you rewind a tape copy of the album past the first song

pseudoscorpion

so all the tapes would ship out with 2-5+ minutes already played? I don't think that would work

didn't that gorrillaz album have the hidden tracks behind a locked groove at the end of one side?

>song appears to be a minute of silence
>it's actually really really quiet with some robot lady saying kill over and over
>the next song is so loud that the sound waves blow your fucking ears in if you tried to listen to the first track.

>hidden track that can only be heard if you speed the album up by 1600x

seems like that was on CDs not tapes

>entire album is comprised of interviews of child rape victims

>album is just a guy deepthroating a microphone

>album has four versions that you play in sync with each other

No, this is fucking stupid when artists do this. At least if you're going to do this, write it in on the lineup as a bonus track like a preface in a book before the actual album starts.

Also, you're now reminded that you once liked papa roach and they had a decent bonus track after their last song on this album.

>entire album is comprised of interviews of child rapists

>album has bonus tracks in between original tracks
>original tracks aren't even in the proper order
>bonus tracks include alternate takes

destroy all astromen

>ban hdas 2 d rurmes

>Album has no songs

>band has 3 drummers
youtube.com/watch?v=FhKJgqxNDD8

>songs are titled I, II, III, IV, V

>album just sheet music for the songs

whoa

>album is compromised of retards screaming and noise

Sounds like any Steve Albini produced album to me.

>songs are titled 1., two, III, 4our, fiVe

For the longest time I thought Dark Entries was the opener for In the Flat Field

>Album is just toilet sounds

>album was written by a deaf guy

>Artist releases 4 albums
>Every song in each album is untitled

>Entire album is beautiful and masterfully crafted
>Look up the Japanese bonus track
>It's utter trash

>this album is the first in a trilogy
>no updates for the next 5 years

>songs are titled with stupid ass characters.
>one song litterally has dice emojis in the title
>album sounds like shit

>bonus tracks are better than the real ones

>bonus track is at the beginning of the album
>it has a sample that blends into the original first song on the album

okay thats where I draw the line that album is fucking awesome

Weird Al - You Don't Love Me Anymore

He means CD, but the data is stored in the pre-gap, so it technically exists before track 1.
