...

you'd be crushed by your own mass

Your body would flip horizontally. Your left side would appear on the right side and your right side would appear on the left side.

Crushed you retard.

Somebody already tested it in the game. It teleported them to a weird portal dimention that looked like an LSD trip.

your left side and right side would telefrag each other. You would absolutely expire.

probably end up in the upside down.

god I hope I can avoid being... eaten?... by those... uh... things... you know, the ones that don't have a face... just tremor-worm mouths for heads.

a) You crush yourself with your own mass/volume
b) The portal dissapear because of their nature on moving platforms, crushing you
c) You get teleported to some hi-tech limbo or some shit

wouldn't your body just end up getting crushed by itself?

maybe all options happen and a and c are the same

fake and gay

this

wow, they really put some thought into the game if that's real.

it makes sense. there's both no space and unlimited space in there at once, essentially a quantum box with no real conscience to give it form, just the computer algorithms and engine...

you'd get a stack overflow and the game would crash

Since it's horizontal you'd just be stuck standing still until you decided to move. To the right or left of you you'd see countless versions of yourself.

Build a Portal level and find out.

You'd get crushed. The portals wouldn't exist though, since it's not a white surface.

You wouldn't be smushed because at the moment you moved the other you would move as well. Sort of like a 3D reflection.

Ignoring the fact that someone already did this in game...

The simplest explanation states that there is always a measurable minimum distance between portals. In this particular case, that minimum distance is continually getting shorter. While this is fine for empty space, it, consequentially, means the minimum distance that can be drawn from _yourself_ to yourself through the portals also decreases.

Eventually, it becomes 0, at which point you're standing shoulder to shoulder with yourself. If the portals move closer still, you're simply crushed by yourself.

Honestly, a more interesting question is "how much force would this take to crush you"? By my reasoning, you're essentially moving ALL of space to do this, so...if not infinite, then at least enough to move the entire universe. This also would have provided an excellent explanation as to why portals weren't allowed to move, relative to themselves, in the first game.
