thanks guys
im glad there are some in the world who know the struggle

i would rather live on an island with 40 strangers like in LOST than sit here on my computer every day

sux to be American eh?

t. 15 year old

I'm a 9th grade dropout and I make 17 an hour. Try for manufacturing jobs. Most start at 10-11 an hour and you need no experience. A retard can move up.

Only issue with that kind of work though is depending on where you live you might only work two or three days and then be laid off for a month or two till the next shutdown. The way it's looking now I won't be back to work till sometime after the new year..if I make it that far anyway, idk at this point.

im not american
australia has a worse unemployment rate somehow

Yea, I cant really speak for people outside the states but a lot of our Neets just need a fire lit under their ass. Some sort of work is available if you want it that bad and ain't afraid of it. I used to be a shut in with no motivation and all the excuses in the world. It is a hard habit to break.

there is no capitalist country where you just "get a job if you want it enough". capitalist economies function on NAIRU, which means there must always be unemployed people. you have no control over whether someone else accepts you to work for them.

A job saved me. I was 2 years into being a neet and was socialy akward as fuck. In bighschool i wasnt but shit and drugs turned me that way. I met people and after like 4 months i had friends and social experience again. I mean im kind of an alcoholic now but it's better then emptiness

you sure as hell won't get anywhere wallowing

>you have no control over whether someone else accepts you to work for them

Bullshit. You have control over wether your hair is neat and tidy, your clothes are clean and ironed, you don't stink of BO etc

>im kind of an alcoholic now but it's better then emptiness
Doesn't alcohol make you feel zombie like and empty? Hangovers aren't cool either

>arguing that you can force someone into doing something

you can persuade, you cannot force

Fuck off you pedantic autist.

Being an adult is a feat that millions of people are capable of pulling off every day and there's no guarantee it will get you a job.

In the same breath, socialism is not a magical, perfect system even on paper, all it does is pander to children passing as grown ups and their endless fucking whining about everything being fair and equal.

Anyway, sucks op. Everyone's been there, just keep your chin up and take what you can.

I'm not drunk when I'm at work and i text abd talk to a group of people i really got to know pretty damn well over the last year. I drink and get drunk on all my time off tho. Probably not going to have the longest life span but im not worried about it yet. I met a girl i love and we're talking, I'll see what happens.

Meant to respond to

>I met a girl i love and we're talking,
You are fucking her right? Because if not that's fucking beta as hell.

Sounds like more excuses. How many jobs did you apply for last week? Don't just cruise the classifieds or leave a shit resume on a website and expect results. You gotta get yourself out there.

This may not apply to you, but showering and keeping up a decent appearance is totally under your control.

You gotta get started early. Most people think 25 and under are fucking clueless idiots no matter how much education they have so don't feel bad if you come off a bit tardy.

The king of apes has spoken.

Yeah we're banging, she has a fiance tho so im not sure all and all what im going to take from it

>explaining how a government uses unemployment as an economical tactic
>excuses

The fact that you can read gives you a heads start on the rest of the unemployed. There will always be unemployed people, sure, but that's not stopping you from finding work.
