>wrong board
fug don't ban me mods

So everyone says Marston was supposed to be like Eastwood, but I never saw it. He always struck me as closer to Charles Bronson, both in looks and personality.

Also RDR was fun, but had a fuck awful ending.

If you liked the game, i suggest you watch Sam Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch.

He bought his family peace from a life of running away from the law.

That entire act of sacrifice was his Redemption.

>that forced death
>implying I wouldn't have dead eyed my way through those Fuckers

he died on purpose though.

I know. It's just that it still hard to accept after murdering small towns single handedly

Playing RDR reminded me a lot of Peckinpah's best films, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid and, obviously, The Wild Bunch. I think RDR followed that connecting theme of the death of the West in an interesting fashion.

>that forced death

Lel. The whole game was about the inevitable death of the American west. Hes death was incredibly fitting.

That zombie add on was pretty fun. Best Halloween game to play.

touché

so was this dude God?

You do get dead eye, but you can't do it fast enough. Even if you have the C96, you can't get all of them.

To make way for Red Dead Re2emption: The Rise of Herbert Moon

i never got that far into red dead, it was kind of uninteresting and marston was boring, i was so bored during a mission when crossing into mexico that i just quit after it.

i might replay it if it ever comes out on PC tho

Is it actually that good?
I have it sitting on my harddrive, but I played a few hours and clearing graveyards wasn't all that fun without pretty sunsets to look at.

Red Dead Revenge would be the perfect name.

It just sounds so nice when you say it.

Everywhere I read, I keep seeing people wanting the sequel to be red dead revenege, to avenge his death

Did people turn the system off after he's buried?

>it if it ever comes out on PC tho

Won't ever happen considering the game is 6 years old now.

Post your RDR cast:
Karl Urban as John Marston
Will Poulter as Jack Marston
Daniel Day Lewis as Dutch van der Linde
Xander Berkeley as Bill Williamson
Ted Levine as Edgar Ross
Jennifer Jason Leigh as Bonnie MacFarlane
Sam Elliot as Marshall Johnson
Domhnall Gleeson as Irish
Steve Buscemi as Seth Briars
Tom Hanks as Nigel West Dickens

Was this ever explained?

Herbert Moon was Sup Forums the video game character.

I'd like to see a game of Jack running around tying up all his father's loose ends.

And then somewhere down the line getting into his own story.

>tfw just got the Wild Bunch on blu ray yesterday
brb gonna go check it out now

>Karl Urban as John Marston

Too young

>Jennifer Jason Leigh as Bonnie MacFarlane

Too old.

remasters are the new cash cow so they'll probably release it then

You might want to choose someone who's half JJL's age to be Bonnie because she's 27.

No, he was the ghost of a man he murdered when he was in Dutch's gang.
>tfw still no sequel announced

he's god you idiots why do you need conformation they made it pretty fucking obvious in the game

he tried to warn us

Probably some guy he knew that got killed. He symbolizes Marston's guilt.

Its got a good spooky atmosphere and I remember there being more to it than grave digging.

The whole game is about the death of the wild west and the legend of the cowboy, Marston's death symbolises it being the end of all that.

huh... really makes you think..

Those digits don't lie, I guess Sup Forums smokers were right

Walton Goggins needs to be in there somewhere, plus John should be a little older. Other than that it's bretty gud. I always thought RDR would make a good HBO series or something

>those comfy camping sites in the !middle of the desert

The wild west doesn't seem like it was that bad of an era

>I always thought RDR would make a good HBO series or something

Sounds good

> crossing into mexico

You literally stopped at the best part.

youtu.be/AUXGW6sWYDY

>not kirt Russell as Dutch
While Lewis would be more closer, Kurt Russell just feels right and would be more fun. Plus we'd get flash backs.

Anyone seen bone tomahawk?

That scene makes me wanna play it again

Although I got all the best stuff, including the unicorn and the four horses of the apocalypse

It was pretty hilarious walking into that rebel fucking the fat Mexican chick.

>season 1: New Austin
>season 2: Mexico
>season 3: West Elizabeth
I want this so bad

And she manages to yell out VIVA MEXICO as she's getting fucked

>you will never give a young, thick Mexican revolutionary cholera
feels bad man

What a well done game. Shame it never came to PC, and that HBO series idea sounds great.

i remember how boring the mission crossing in was and i felt it was supposed to be somewhat epic but it was just dark and i was just killing enemies with ease

Playing on hardcore right now desu. On another note, was zombie Marston a good idea?

Is that a spoiler? I honestly don't remember Undead Nightmare but it seems to me like it's just a literal nightmare John is having during a storm.

I meant him coming back as a zombie at the end.

I bought taketwo stocks the other day. Sequel announcement when?

>tfw 100% completion on both RDR and Undead Nightmare
Feels good man, I'd do it again if they did a next-gen/PC remaster too.

Off topic but is captcha acting funny for anyone else?

Yeah it's been a cunt with me for ages, not appearing properly, two at the same time, fucking annoying it is.

Yes. Is yours taking awhile to pop up?
