its source is dead and the part is so written in the Japanese page that town residents who worried about children's health sent a request the manga series including explicit sex/rape, gore scenes and some outdated words like F-word should be isolated somehow. to be fair, I don't think the series are a thing for children to read.

Many of us know that Barefoot Gen has some inaccurate contents but it has located in many libraries because of its value. It's also known for calling the emperor a murder.
The official explanation was different but Matsue city is considered to have compromised nationalist protests.
However, Matsue's population is just 200 thousand and it's still being widely read.
