Season 2 is pure kinotv.
I liked Season 1, though the fedora-baby's-first-existentialism shit was cringeworthy, but, season 2 had me feeling since the beginning.
The only bad thing I can think about in this season was the fact that the mystery was obfuscated by the characters. There wasn't that 'big bad wolf' like in season 1.

season 2 was worse because it was just as shlocky as season 1 but even edgier and tryhard. it took itself way too seriously. without the supernatural stuff and the pseudophilosophy it removed a bunch of the fun. without that it's just a generic, pretentious police procedural

It had some bumpy moments, but, it wasnt as awful as the media/critics painted it out to be. People were legit pissed when they found out about no matthew and woody -- that was a huge blow to the show before it even aired.
The only legitimate complaint about this season was the writing.
