capitalism is my bae

love CORPORATE POP STARS, hate TRUMP

...

...

really makes you think

Literally which part? Its all just pluck the string.

>mistaking corporatism for capitalism

...

"exposes" capitalism

*sent from my iphone*

Fuck this album creeped me out like no other. Some seriously unsettling vibes.

I don't get how people who are major beneficiaries of capitalism can criticise it at a root level. I know you can say "hey maybe we should be more blah blah blah" but to say capitalism is evil while making a lot of money from it seems rather hypocritical desu.

>all of your criticisms of capitalism are rejected because you own something!

i wonder where music would even be in a socialist world. free market capitalism drives unique worldviews and socioeconomic backgrounds, which breeds more breakthroughs.

what interesting or uncommon musical ideas have been expressed by danish musicians, for example, as compared to class warfare and social unrest in the 60s basically spurring every musical idea since?

This. I don't understand why people think this is a complete critique of capitalism.

This. Capitalism isn't perfect, but c'mon.

Especially since it's partly inspired by the most popular critique of communism

>the thing i own wouldn't exist if its creator lived in a socialist economy!

...

I wouldn't even say it's completely a critique on capitalist/corporationist governance being as it also criticises the socialist PM James Callaghan in Pigs as well.

>implying there's a difference

>counterfactual reasoning!

Consider reading books.

...

>the thing i own
do you own a factory, an oil tanker or a newspaper?

You first

I do.
The differences between these two systems are massive despite what some college pinkos would have you believe.

Capitalism literally does that maybe a tenth of the time and the rest is just fucking superhero movies, but okay

...

...

Capitalism drastically heightened the living standards when industrialization became sustainable for the middle class and gradually devolved into corporatism. What's so hard to understand about that

>Capitalism drastically heightened the living standards
Yeah, by oppressing third world brown people countries with colonialism.

Probably your implication that your so called "corporatism" is not something capitalism will just naturally do over time

Third world brown people don't exactly help themselves. Decolonization made things even worse for most of them. They got all the leftover infrastructure from the european powers for free and let it rot instead of using it to grow their economies.

>current year
>being a determinist
well memed

Capitalism is wonderful. Go fuck your special snowflake. You have much to learn about life.

>greater powers imposes a system on you that you don't have the cultural background to understand or defend yourself against
>they leave when they don't have much more profit to make (implying they ever left and don't still own all the natural assets and production, France even got rid of Gadaffi because he threatened French economic interests by working to unify and strengthen Africa's economy and autonomy)
>lol why don't they just GET the culture they need to become an equally powerful economic and military force, the dunces
>the colonial powers did it for free

>muh culture
Yeah I guess if working more than 5-10 hours a week isn't part of your culture then having strong economies is a no go.

"I hate capitalism", the Millennial shitposted on his Apple Mac, sipping his Starbucks mocha latte, and listening to rap music on his Beats By Dre headphones. His mother, a receptionist at a bank, called upstairs, and he knew his Hot Pocket had been thoroughly heated in his Kenmore microwave. "Spasibo, comrade!" the Millennial responded, racing downstairs.

I assume that's what the Russians were saying to the poor as they kicked in their doors and murdered them.
Nice cartoon picture. Really shows the type of person supporting capitalism.

1. Strawman (anti-capitalists are almost always modest despite what your circlejerks tell you)
2. Pic related

Now guys, I've read a lot of books on this subject so I think I can settle this debate once and for all.
Capitalism is when you own stuff, like iphones and toothbrushes
Corporatism is when rich people do stuff you don't like
Communism is when the government does all of the things

t. expert

Capitalism is the system most aligned with human nature. Capitalism has brought more people out of poverty than anything else. It's the reason we have the technology and general quality of life that we do. The fundamental failure of non-capitalist systems is that they don't take human nature into account. Human beings' instincts will always outweigh their rational minds when the two are in direct conflict. It is our instinct to work to provide for ourselves and our immediate associates. Humans will never work for "the greater good" or the "community" on a large scale. Not to mention capitalism is good if you like having individual rights, but apparently that's not even part of the argument that people bring up anymore.

Capitalism is private ownership of the means of production, communism is communal ownership of the means of production. Being a communist doesn't mean having to starve because the food was produced by someone who owned the stuff that went into its production with wage labour using it. That said, last year when me and some friends were organizing a metal music evening (we had a little stage and half a dozen bands and stuff) the punk band members all had iPhones. Many contemptuous glances were thrown by all. So I get what you mean.

...

>anti-capitalists are almost always modest

Prove it.

And all the centuries and millenia pre-capitalism? Those were against human nature too?

"It's different when WE do it!" the hypocrite shouted over all criticism.

>Being a communist doesn't mean having to starve

History has proven otherwise.

Nonsense, the Ukranians starved because they WEREN'T good communists.

>B-b-but that wasn't real Communism!
>B-b-but that wasn't real Socialism!

It's like the No True Scotsman fallacy applied to an entire failed sociopolitical movement.

>capitalism is the system most aligned with human nature

Oh, yeah, I forgot. That's why the richest people in it are almost all sociopaths who've continuously leeched off others. I forgot that people who are poor, without healthcare, eating shitty generic white bread are actually just acting under human nature. I can see you've done a lot of thinking about this matter, much more than all the sociologists in support of communism. I can also see that an ideology meeting the direct "needs" of us apes is actually the best, which is why people sit in their house and masturbate continuously. Which is why the planet is dying from overconsumption while millions are starving to death.

Yeah, I was really confused there, but you set me straight friend. The more ya know.
Go outside instead of meandering through your reaction folder to find a Simpsons pic that accurately pairs up with your Strawmen and "muh experience" talks and you'll meet them.

Or just continue browsing kek memes destroying those dirty commies.

Doesn't matter to me.

I was joking about the Holodomor probably being orchestrated because the Ukranians were resisting communist development, but if you insist on being a dumb fuck I'm not gonna stop you.

what the fuck are you even talking about
>everyone who disagrees with me is somehow an hypocrite

HER MOM WAS GONE WE WERE LISTENING TO DOGS

>I was joking about the Holodomor

Sounds like you're the real dumb fuck.

tbqh, im not anti-capitalist as such (ok i kind of am) but more then anything i am anti greed

Next you'll tell me I can't joke about Cromwell stealing potatoes, you dumb newfag fuck.

Are you seriously pointing to hunter-gatherer times to argue against capitalism?

Your fallacy is the assumption that everyone will have a good life. Not everyone can/will achieve that for themselves and in fact some people are screwed by circumstance. That is the nature of the world, that's how it's always been for every living thing.

>Are you seriously pointing to hunter-gatherer times to argue against capitalism?
No.

Nothing says fuck capitalism more than a guy singing about it being shit while being worth £100 million. Seriously, Roger is either just bullshitting us or he's the biggest hypocrite ever.

Yes, it gave the western world better lives, while fucking over literally anyone who isn't white.

This album isn't even "anti-capitalism" it's anti-cronyism and predation. Regardless of what your freshman poli-sci Berkeley student would have you believe, this is not what capitalism actually is.

elaborate then? Or don't, I have to leave for work and I don't use Sup Forums on my phone. Try reading books sometime.

>elaborate then? Or don't, I have to leave for work and I don't use Sup Forums on my phone. Try reading books sometime.
Capitalism became prominent during the Renaissance. It's capitalism when private citizens own the means of production, not when institutions like the royal family or the church does.

If you enjoy the album so much might I recommend that you read Animal Farm by George Orwell?

Essential listening

some retarded 16 year old always feels the need to assume an avatarfag persona and personally defend a shitty thing
every
thread

>implying Trump isn't a corporate pop star
nice bait though. You'll get some neckbeard pissed AF.

>HOW DARE PEOPLE VOLUNTARLY TRADE WITH EACHOTHER PRIVATELY

Yup, but then again Sup Forums is full of dumb university kids going through a marxist phase

What do you really want? Socialism? Have you ever wondered how a country really tries to achieve this? Do you want to change people's freedom in favor of collective poverty? Socialism works for ants, dogs or any other animal inferior to us. We are human beings, not animals. Real capitalism is about freedom to act without an abusive state wanting to intrude into your life. When you let the state provide you with everything you turn into their little bitch. I'd rather run the risk of failing in life and becoming homeless, but having my freedoms guaranteed than living being a slave to the government. Capitalism is life.

being against capitalism is the good goy way to avert attention from the international jewish bankers

If you want some seriously tankie Metal I'd go with EYEHATEGOD,Sepultura,Judas Iscariot,Mayhem, and maybe Panopticon
youtube.com/watch?v=6ODNxy3YOPU

I live in Finland
Almost socialist utopia

implying you aren't mentally inept enough to not see how fucking stupid that sounds.
Calm your edge kiddo.

>dogs are socialist
>muh not real capitalism

That's not an argument

if the jews control everything then why does Israel exist? Why did they have to flee Europe?
It's just some dumbass ancient aliens shit.

I know this is going to sound insane, but elite Jew's literally have been in contact with aliens since ancient times, and have controlled the world ever since. The Jew's controlled all sides in WW2 as well as every other war and revolution that has taken place.

...

If you know it sounds insane maybe you should talk yo your therapist about it.

Daily reminder that communism cannot work as greed is part of human nature, most communists deny this fact and will most likely teach you that violence is part of our nature too

Is that the advanced power plant from Red Alert 1?

daily reminder that Cuba works pretty fucking well for a country that's enemies with the most powerful country on earth that is also its nextdoor neighbor. Also when the USSR was booming it was booming.

Also trash dove was mostly just bait and nr important to what I was saying. I think economic theory is always debatable. I am pretty commie tho.
