Who was the superior songwriter?

Who was the superior songwriter?

ringo

Lenin. Is this even a debate?

Brain Will's Son

George. Why is this a question?

Paul>John>George>I wish they had let Ringo write more than one song

George

If you take it as a hit rate as percentage of songs written Ringo was the GOAT.

Name more than 3 good songs he wrote
Objectively correct

>Name more than 3 good songs he wrote
Here Comes the Sun
Something
It's All Too Much
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Taxman
I Want to Tell You
Blue Jay Way

This. Though my favorite The Beatles song is by Lenin.

Paul by a mile

>people unironically saying George is the best
Are you 13?

I thought Ringo wrote two songs - Octopus's garden and Don't pass me by

John if he was with Paul
Paul by himself

At the end of the day John wrote their finest songs

What about If I Needed Someone

thats an excellent answer tbhonest

Guarantee anyone who says john is underage

Yeah, that as well. The list of tracks wasn't supposed to be a definitive list of good George songs, just some off the top of my head

holy fuck i forgot he actually wrote it! i was thinking of yellow submarine, which was Lennon-McCartney

I used to think George was the best, and then realized it was just because he was the obvious answer to the "John/Paul Binary." And he's good, but he's not legitimately THAT good. His range just isn't the same as Paul's, and I mean in songwriting, not voice. And my god, All Thing's Must Pass is SO boring. There are wonderful songs on it, but good god. Very outperformed by Ram, Plastic Ono Band, even Imagine (maybe not Imagine).
