What makes this wonderous?
I ask myself this exact thing, its just a piece of water, whats wonderful about that?
northern lights and Victoria falls
it's obviously a meme map created by a new worlder, or even worse, an American
Charles Darwin thought it was the gayest place on earth.
>In 1932 when Charles Darwin, the great naturalist, visited he wrote that the location seemed almost unreal, like some kind of immense theatrical stage. "Every form, every shade, so completely surpasses in magnificence all that the European has ever beheld in his own country, that he knows not how to express his feelings. The general effect frequently recalled to my mind the gayest scenery of the Opera-house or the great theatres."

It's from a list made by CNN in 1997. Since when are tv channels the authority in this topic ?
Now that I look at it in pictures it is actually kind of cool, but it doesn't beat Yosemite or Wulingyuan.
These seem pretty abitrary
None, I've never been abroad and I've never been on a holiday trip.
how could it not be arbitrary
>Paricutin Volcano
Seriously?
Only to the Great Barrier Reef, it was 7 years ago so it was still lovely
>northern lights
>no southern lights
Yes there are
was referring to their absence on the map, ahmed mywifesson.
you jelly? i mean i prefer yellow stone than boring canyon
I don't think they claim they only exist within that circle

>the gayest scenery
wew
I think you might be legitimately retarded.
:(
this 2bh pham
Northern lights is just slang for Aurora because it's most commonly seen there. They mention in their website it occurs on the southern hemisphere too.
...
wow thanks for the info
Do you go outside and see them regularly sometimes or is it specific days in the year?
victoria falls only
It happens often but only a very short time at night at a certain area and the sky has to be clear. I saw it maybe twice a winter when I lived very far north but I didn't read about forecasts or care that much
Most swedes don't see it because most swedes live in the south
>still lovely
Wait what?
Is it ruined now?
My dream one day when I have enough money is to go to Australia to scuba dive in the barrier reef, even though I don't know how to scuba dive, Kek
Videos of it look fucking awesome so I've always wanted to see it for my self
We've had the northern lights at about 48.5 latitude before, that was pretty neat.
yeah it's bleached
Already???!
I thought only parts of it were bleached
Is there any part of the barrier reef now not ruined and full of life like what you saw?
I'm 18 and one of my childhood fantasies was swimming in the barrier reef amongst all the tropical fish turtles coral sharks etc
If I was born 10 years earlier this dream could have come true
it's expected to be mostly bleached in 20 years
So basically if I go, I should go to the far south of the reef
I heard you need a license to scuba dive?
What do you have to do to get one?
What are ningaloo reef and shark bay like?
Are they as ruined as barrier reef?
sorry I have no clue, I've never been up there myself
1, dont quess which
canyon
I thought yellowstone was cooler than grand canyon
all of them.. in pictures
>Some biologist thought it was a nice placed
>100% confirmed world wonder
