I mean there are ones where it is just scratching or some shit, I cannot relax to that at all, people react differently to different things, im just saying what I feel on the subject, when I told myself that asmr works it worked, and I convinced myself it did, then after a while I went back to how I used to think, as in it is just some soft relaxing sounds that help me sleep.
As I said there is no scientific proof that it works, and most people who follow it and create it believe in natural healing, and other people have hopped on a bandwagon (like me)

the tingling thing is a real sensation in your middle/upper spine
it's relatively rare even if you're susceptible to it. like you might listen to five videos and only have one tingle
you can also get used to it, which makes the effect diminish. asmr vids used to trigger me regularly a couple years ago, now i tingle maybe once per 50 videos
presumably this is the same thing as being naturally resistant. i think the majority of people don't experience the effect at all.
