I permanently blocked Sup Forums from my computer and I've never looked back

What about it? It was good. Though I guess in a way it felt a bit more like the ending of the Dark Tower books. You know, 7a is where the series "ends", and the next chapter is there only if you really want to know what happens next. So it's like a coda or something to the main story.

Time & Life is the end of an eight-year story arc. It is Mad Men's best episode. If you've failed to ascertain this, you should hop off a bridge.

everything after betty and don broke up was slow, uneventful garbage.
im 27 so i didnt "get" the series finale.
then when it was explained to me, it still sucked cuz that ad sucked.
what a waste of hours of my life.
i felt like i only kept watching to see wwhich hot bitch don slept with next.

What's the arc? He loses his job?

I don't feel it, though it was the best episode of the last 7

I'm younger than you and I "got" the finale. How have you never seen that ad? You're a fucking idiot and should probably kill yourself

Season 3 was the peak for this show.

uncultured pleb?

i personally think season 5 was the best.

>are you alone?
youtube.com/watch?v=YocBfe1N598

all of 7 was weak. weiner wasted the first half of the season and then at 7b, he realized that the show was ending and he had to tie up loose ends and just threw everything together as safely as possible.

>block Sup Forums on computer
>shitpost from phone

well done faggot

personally I thought the neo nazis were a weak addition especially after an antagonist like Gus

he had to do what amc said. i still enjoyed 7B, but i think two or three of the episodes were bad.

(u)

this is now a trudy thread post your trudys

she's hot but she's unironically a horrible actress and the voice she used in Mad Men was awful

>never seen an ad
>for fucking Coke
>makes you stupid

The only idiots here are you and Weiner for ever thinking a piece of evil garbage like advertising could have any artistic merit whatsoever

>watching Mad Men while being this ignorant

You were always destined to be a pleb.

It should have ended with Coopers fare-well dance.

Pete-fags were right. They were always right.

This, also the message "the best things in life are free" is the closest the show ever got to any kind of realisation for Don that he literally peddles cancer and poison and his life's work is meaningless, worse than meaningless since it actively hurts millions of people.

But then Weiner just made everyone rich then Don wrote a popular as for coke

Brava

He never looked back

...

"Did Don write the ad?" Jesus Weiner

What a retarded ending what was he thinking

7B was alright.
The only thing I really can't stomach is the finale.

Doesn't matter when your hot
Prove me wrong

can i have some back story to this my god famalamadamshamgamsamhamram

So what was the ending about? What was the meaning of it?

I always thought it was Season 4, I'm rewatching the series now and just finished "The Suitcase" which is incredible. I remember not liking S3 or finding it uneventful for whatever reason, but after rewatching it its much better than I remembered.

S1 or 2 are probably the worst imo, S1 is just a little too straight forward and they seem more interested in the era than the characters and the whole show just feels "cheap" for lack of a better term.

The Suitcase has long been confirmed as the greatest episode of television ever.

Don was able to finally let go of dick and created the greatest ad ever taking inspiration from the hippy commune

Google the massacre of Glencoe

The Suitcase was overrated melodrama in an otherwise excellent series.

Go on

I agree with this

Was surprised to find out that it was received as the GOAT Mad Men

>Don sees a fucking Anna Draper ghost

Jesus Christ Weiner

When he sees her and she picks up the suitcase, I said please don't fade out and disappear, and then she did. Show should have been better than to use that trope.

I don't even mind Don's visions that much, but it was too far for her to actually be dead at that moment. I get that it was just his imagination but it was better done when he's talking to that waitress in the last season and she says Don might have dreamt about Rachel after she died, saying our minds mix things up

HOURLY REMINDER THAT BETTY WAS PERFECT AND DON RUINED HER

Betty was a grown child.

like all women?

Nope, Joan, Faye, and later Peggy were strong women, but nice bait.

She was a perfect wife, and Don could have helped her to grow, instead he poisoned her then left

She was a great wife, I agree there. Though she, as a person, was very immature and needed to grow the fuck up, she eventually did a LITTLE bit at the end.

If she's all women then sign me up

Honestly, Betty was the best Don ever pulled. I know the whole point of the series was that Don never truly accepted any aspect of the life he earned for himself because he felt it was a sham but shit, I would've never let Betty get away as long as I could hit at least once a week, word is bond, believe senpai

The "I guess I do love you" scene was pretty great, but I'm a little posses at how tidy the Peggy story ended.

Stan is much too good for her.

...

She really was, so many of those girls especially season 1 are just garbage looking compared to Betty

Was it great? No one talks like that, it came off like a bad romcom

>no one came even close to defending it

As I suspected

is it safe to say mad men is office politics: the TV show?

youtube.com/watch?v=Bks8Dqtp43s

what the hell even happened to James Callis after BSG?

It's a little more than that, it's also about the era and the human condition

>Implying normies have the patience to watch mad men

They talk more about game of thrones

t. archie campbell

wasn't the reason he was such a mess because he knew she was probably dead but was avoiding facing it?
