it's good
This is the debut single from a band I've been in since 2013. The single is its first real release. The lineup is loose just like the other groups I'm in, so I don't actually appear on this single but I'll be on the full length that could come out in the fall. >indie >art pop >bedroom >singing saw, bowed banjo, typewriter percussion, the instrumentation is all over the place >sounds like Grandaddy, Hop Along, and the Music Tapes gabrielgabriel.bandcamp.com/album/untitled-video-46

>lofi beat shit >swamped out ep >full length non-swamped due soon
"An interception of the afterlife, mixed with brittle electronics and blistering acoustic guitar that seeps through the cracks of a disembodied, mangled, and disorienting track. A sneak peek of the ever so dark, eccentric, and experimental sound that Yamir toys with on his upcoming record."
>experimental electronic >metaphysical and dystopian themes
rate on rym if you want

wonderfully strange, I think it could use with some mixing though, particularly when it comes to the synths which are a bit grating at times chill af, think you should find a vocalist to collab with
just a rough demo I made to send to my band, it'll probably be a long time before we actually put anything out so I'm a bit starved for feedback haha. probably won't be me singing it in the end if we use it (I'm not the best singer in the band for this style)

Thanks. I did my best with the mixing, but didn't want to make sound too 'tin can' if you know what i mean. I just have a $20 usb mic so there's only so much i can do. I recorded the synth by placing the mic in front of the connected $30 portable speaker, and i'm pretty surprised with how much of the sound it actually managed to capture.
Just file it under 'noise influence' and it won't be bothersome anymore haha
Got home a little while ago from work. That was the most terrifying driving experience I ever endured. I live in the Adirondack Mountains in New York, and the snow has been ridiculous. Already at least two feet on the ground and still coming. Anyway.....
>soundcloud.com/venndc/sets/venn yeah this is nice, somebody mentioned the production but there's so much clarity in this especially for something like shoegaze. i actually really, really love this. it reminds me of pains of being pure of heart (and even airiel in the vocals) but it does to me what a lot of nugaze doesn't do for me these days: makes me pay attention. too much of it's buried under guitars or just reverb ridden vocals or just very clunky, linear stuff.
actually screw it i just bought it. i love it
danlinke.bandcamp.com/ i do a lot more 0pn-esque style stuff but these two tracks are a few clams casino style cuts i did about a year ago. had a guy message me on soundcloud today asking me to put them up for download so i put a rough EP together, curious what y'all think

new album is great. hopefully some freak folk community notices you and you get picked up by a record label i do miss miss your cheesy shitty vaporwave though desu
Well fellas I can finally submit my own music to these threads. I just finished and released my first album of bedroom/closet/apartment folk. In a roundabout way it's actually about trying to kick my Sup Forums addiction and get my life together. I'll be honest and say that I focused more on lyrics and chords over performance and production. Even though it sounds objectively terrible (mic nervousness and zero production value) the songs are really special to me and I learned a lot about myself while making it. I've discovered so much about the world and my place in it through my time on Sup Forums and this is my paltry offering that I give back.
pretty good man... i don't know if the album works as a unit, by that i mean its hard to tell that you're the same artist as i go track by track because the vocals change so much, some aren't even english. you can explain it to me but not every listener will be able to contact you about this, you know what i mean? That being said i like the album a lot, well done.
